Well what if we only buffered like 50% or 75% of the video instead of 100%.

It would be quicker and with everyone's internet kinda up to speed nowadays the remaining 50%-25% should finish buffering before the user gets to those spots.

Ok guys, from me I think its all done.

The pre-loader works and starts the movie when it knows it will be fully downloaded before the end is reached, so it starts a lot quicker. The final screen fades in nicely and lines up with the webpage frame. The pre-loader also has a skip button that will terminate the download and go straight to the home page for people not prepared to wait.

Also, for the people without flash it offers them the option to get it, or go to the homepage.

So, here it is, then final final imo!

And the video is just a demo? Since if we (Knights Reborn) is going to have an "enter" movie it would not be proper to have credits in the beginning, or at all tbh. However if you were to put it on youtube etc, it would be proper.

If by credits you mean...my name...then at the front is the best place for them. If it was at the end then all the emphasis would be on my name and not the video. You see this short video is building over time and climaxes at the end. Therefore, I don't want the last thing people see and think about to be me, it should be about the clan.

So I put my name in the beginning to get it in and then out so people can focus on the movie. But hey if you want I could put a watermark of my name throughout the whole movie.

Also, I am anything but proper.

There shouldn't be any name except Knights Reborn there <.< I mean, otherwise it would be like the server "Server by <name & name>" which is misleading in such a way as it gives the impression "I am paying/modding for the server so threat be better than others", etc~

EDIT: An idea would be to make a "Credits" page, listing "staff" - such as Web-designer, Admins, moderators.. etc, you name it. (Not ranks such as council, jedi etc.)

You think someone might watch this movie and think that I am the one that put the whole clan together or something? "By RaVeN" so to speak.

Maybe it's because I'm in this industry that I would never see it this way, I would always related the name to whoever put the video together. But if others do then it could be an issue I suppose.

I only put my name on there because it took a lot of work (as most of you know, those of you who have been there since the beginning) So I was rather proud of it, and wanted to put my name on it. It was not in a way like "Look what I did!" but in a "Look what I did!" kinda way.

With regards to a credit page...I think the Council's names are all over these forums enough. I think we are a bit more humble than pasting our names all around these forums.

However I see what you are saying, and if there was a way we could do it without seeming so Gaudi about it then it's possible.
