Hey guys, im having a debate with a friend. I need to know what you think about it so you can help me resolve it. Its quite random, but I want to get your opinions.

So if you could complete the poll for me that would be great.

Comments are also good. :)

cmon, its just companies way of saying look at us. And also, no-one ever actually reads ads in newspapers or magazines... as for town centres, well it just makes town look crap.
But im not gonna go on too much because who knows, ill be one of those companies one day XD

Gah, whenver i pick up a magazine (national geographic for example) i can never find the actual articles... it is painful -_-

Here in Vemont USA, billboards are illegal, so my highway rides are commercial free, lol

and i dont read newspapers.

City centers? i dont know >_> i live in the 'sticks' rural vermont. our nearby suburbs dont have much advertising in the streets and stuff, besides big signs out front, but those make the area look less... empty?

i voted no. my interactions with ads are more often than not annoyance inducing.

Theres my opinion Pho, lol

Dunno who that supports though >_>

While I can see the purpose of advertising i dont think it brightens up newspapers towns etc..

if anything it ruins the aesthetics.

I don't like it. It definitely doesn't brighten up cities in the States, that's for sure. It usually leads to people tagging and vandalism, which isn't really that appealing.

You think about very well preserved cities such as Chester, Stratford all preserved.. Its good avertising doesnt overwhelm them.

DOnt get me wrong the concept I dont have a problem with..

Incidentally has anyone ever been to Stratford? its full of American tourists they love it :-s
