I'VE DONE IT!!!

FINALLY!
i have finally gotten gospels model ingame! : D
not quite ready to release it yet, still some minor tweaks need to be done to the mesh so it looks better in motion. that and the textures are flat and unfortified ._.
still im gettin there!
one step closer to me playing AS Senbou *SQUEELS*

itll look better with better textures, plus ill be slightly reworking the model a tad
i dont intend on worrying about shaders until the rest of it is ready to go, but likely i wont bother with blinking eyes {unless gos wants it :P} {if you meant the model itself being able to blink, no it will not, im saving that sort of complexity for when i get better at this}

If, for any reason that escapes me, you do want it to blink that could be done with shaders too - not too hard. It looks epic Sen, you're a real modeler now!

Wooo, now we got a real modeler in the clan.
Critic time. Only 2 things.
1: The forhead is huge. 0.0 The inner section of the helmet doesn't need to be that big.
2: Five sections of red missing but you said your not done with textures yet so I know you will be getting there, the on the head, the two head fins and the shoulders.
Only shaders that will be needed is blinking, and if you want the red on the shoulders glow.
Great to see this is almost done, its coming great.

the head is all to scale with the ref pics though o.o

xD I can't believe its done so quick after the leg last night

yeah that issue was an easy fix, i just attached the body part in question to a 0'd out object and erased that object via poly deletion. all i had to do was rename the limb and re-rig it

btw gos, what did you have in mind for the texturing?
idk how to make it look other than color scheme ._.

when i was first compiling the model there was an issue with a couple limbs {thats what aj means}, the right arm and left leg were upside down and a good distance away from where they belonged lol
ive since fixed that o'course ;)

Scale down the head a little bit, the head UNDER the helmet should be normal size.
Texture wise, the face should look like skin, but the rest is all smooth metal, and you would know what to use more then me.
Less pointy, as in, they should have a flat tip. BUUUUUT, you don't need to bother with that.
The purple on the helmet should stop at the grey. But don't hassle yourself with too much work.

I suggest you smoothen out the ...edges on the "breast" plate or whatever. At least with one more to avoid making it lock like a box.
Instead of direct box mapping

i did it as accurate to the ref images as possible, thats how it is ._.

ok small update, ive fixed up the textures a little {hopefully theyre what gos wanted >.>} as well as shrunk the head some, but any smaller and the rest of the body wont match ><
dont worry bout the missing red bits, those will be added later as a shader, just gettin the base down first
still gotta improve the skin, the black line is to remind me where the mouth is {need to find my tablet pen ><}

The texture is alright, not the smooth metal look but meh. Np on the red, and the head now looks normal.
