Greetings fellow KR Members!
The Council and the Arbiters have been recently discussing and debating various updates and improvements for the KR clan. One of the topics that was debated, and has now been approved, was our current ranks - thanks to Cross’ recent post in Members. We tried to find a way to add some improvement to the rank line up while at the same time having it make sense.
We also did not want the improvement to add a major work load to Admins and Moderators, and we were looking for it to improve the flow of the KR hierarchy.
Therefore we are happy to announce the new rank that we have come up with as an addition to the KR ranking system:
Jedi Guardian
This new rank will be placed between the Knight and Master ranks.
To become a Guardian is both simple and very difficult in the same sense:
The requirement to become a Guardian will be to train a fellow member from Student to Knight. Once you have successfully done this, you will be rewarded with a promotion to Guardian.
There will be no "Trial" per say for the Guardian rank. Instead your advancement will be in the hands of your Padawan.
From the moment you take on a Padawan until the last blow is struck in their Knight Trial - that is your Guardian Trial.
If your Padawan passes their Knight Trial then you too will receive a rank advancement, but if your Padawan fails than you both will have to wait 2 weeks.
A Guardian will be a superior officer to Knights and below, and therefore should be obeyed as well as respected in accordance with the KR hierarchy. However Master’s and above are still higher in the KR hierarchy compared to a Guardian.
While a Guardian you will need to focus your efforts, if you want to continue advancing, to earn the Council’s favor so that you may receive an Invite for the Master’s Trial. Once you have received an Invite you will remain as a Guardian until you achieve a successful Master’s Trial.
Some of our members right now are already eligible for this new rank. Below are the names of the members who are to be promoted:

Squall
Ice
