hey all, this for anyone who has any idea on how to begin skinning with photoshops 3D rendering.

i dont know how many people here have tried it, but i was just looking for a basic tutorial, so if anyone wants to chare how they learned how to skin or if they have a link to a tutorial, that would be awesome

i dont recognize the term 3d rendering in what im aware of what skinning is lol, but its pretty simple when u get the hang of it ^^

3D rendering is just the name of the part of photoshop that allows it to view and edit 3D images. it allows you to visualize the skin before its complete, instead of just looking at the 2D version

that wont work with a JKA skin, at least i'd be very suprised if it does, becuase it uses ghoul skin technology stored in the models .glm file; so you do ur edits, and use modview to look at it.

if u lucky u may find a PS plugin that supports ghoul models, but as i dont know PS i cant answer that

Contains modview, allows you to do what you view your skin and refresh, etc etc.

ya i didnt think jka skins could be viewed in 3D with photoshop, but i mean in general thats one use for the 3D rendering
