Anyway myself i originally got her going clockwise only.. however then I looked another time she was going anti, now I can make her switch at will!!

went down stairs come up now can only see anti clockwise... its proper weird. Obviously a clever illusion, wonder if it does mean differnt parts of your brain.

its an optical illusion, if you concentrate hard enough she'll appear to be turning the other way, i just stared at her for a while and i could see her turn both ways consecutively

it isnt hard to do it ^^

I decided to test your theory, I started to stare at it and after a couple of minutes sure enough it just changed but about a second before hand I started to sing along to a good song instead of concentrating on it, then it started to change quickly without me doing too much, I dont believe it is on a cycle though

I'm in full agreeince with Darko It is programmed to cycle back after a minute or two it's not the brain doing it but the programming.

I can make her go right when I want and left when I want
I can make her not do a full circle left to right..

Initially I looked at for ages and she was just going clockwise and someone stood next to me said she changed but I couldnt see anything

All you have to do it look at and well you can change it by yourself

I didnt try to make her change and she did watch the feet focus on them at one point the extended foot goes behind a leg then it reverses direction

It is probably a loop but it doesnt chage direction its just looping the same

Your probabaly seeing the new loop and it changes for you

what you havent done is work out the trick of changing it
It is an illusion

You can reverse it if you do it right

I can see her as I wish (except for naked and in colour), If I want her to spin clockwise she will and if I want her to turn the otherway I just look at her leg and transfer it..

I can do it on any whim and make her go left to right so she never completes a full circle if I wish...

yes its a loop, but due to the girl being black against a mainly white background its easy to make her change direction at will

its all about perception, right when one leg disappears behind (or in front) you can make the direction change, its just a trick on your eyes, plain and simple

What part of in my opinion this isnt possible is so hard to grasp? Just because this graphic is described as an "optical illusion" doesn't mean if i don't understand how it works i should except its true.
Theres a difference between a simple optical illusion compared to a moving figure that so happens to not only completely change direction but can change feet stance. As i watched the graphic i took clear note she was turning clockwise, and when she changed minutes later she was anti. Such drastic changes don't just HAPPEN and the sooner you learn to think for yourself instrad of letting the word optical illusion do the thinking for you the better. I cant change it with "my mind" at my whim, but i never expected i'd be able to.
Congratulations to the people who have been able to do it, because from what i can see you have the power of changing a moving photo, which is prity damn impressive. It tickles my wtfhow button greatly.
