Cats, I have 2 of them, the only thing is that they are not loyal pets as in they dont stay with you all the time etc.

But cats are cute and cuddly and stuff

i prefer cats, i like dogs, but, they arent quite as snuggly (yes its a word, look it up in dyyor's dictionary of de-da-de) as cats are

Depends what your looking for in a pet.

And the living arrangements.

If you have a settled house and arnt planning to travel and are looking for a loving companion pick a dog.

If you live in a rented house/apartment and are looking for a snuggly fluff ball but not companionship then pick a cat. Cats are the most unloyal thing i know, thats why i personally cant stand them :)

Both have downsides.

2 dogs 6 cats.
Hmm, thats a bit creepy, cat man much?

Depends on the cat.. I have a cat and a dog and the dog usually keeps to itsself and the cat follows me around cuddling next to me whenever I sit down. it realy depends on the animal. As for living quarters.. if you have a yard dogs are fun (if they play fetch). but without an outside thing to tire them out cats are better they don't get into as much stuff and they dont hump your leg.

THroughout my life I always had cats always preferef them

Until I moved in with my partner we have a dog.. and well now I realise what mans best friend is..

Coming home from work to an empty house doesnt feel empty someone so delighted to see me.. and far far more cuddly than a cat like getting hugs from your teddy bear.

I do still really like cats , but they will never hold the same relationship that a dog and his owner will have.

Cat is too unloyal, dependind on herself. I myself prefer dogs. When parents arent at home, I just come home tired from school, there always welcomes me with such happyness my little doggy. If I feel bad or I am hurt, he just get's to get to me and helps me to get better mood. I always have who to play with and I am not worried about him ,he listens me on word.

Dogs hands down. Yeah cats are lovely animals but they are far to independant to be what I would consider a pet.
