Thought id get a feastive thread going??

I do like me turkey, although oddly enough we dont have it often..

Might be wrong but I think people in britain at least prefer chicken for the rest of the year..

I think its going to be basic turkey, pork and pigs in blankets (small sausage with some streaky bacon wrapped around it and cooked.

probably with winter veg which in contrast to things like aubergiene and asparagus I am not so keen on.. but asparagus tips and mange tout (spelling) are hardly christmassy!!

slow roasting beef or lamb is a really great way to cook it

:? Turkey is a general tradition world wide.. Some people prefer goose ro duck etc and have or have ham and such..

Alot of places either have their own festives. Alot of countries adopted the Bristih style roast for teh basis of their sunday roasts... I think..
