Okay...yea...It has been a wild week for me

I was off from the dojo and on my way to meet some old friends that I haven't seen in a long time. I got there and on the way to the meet placing and found my friend is being attacked by a man.

Let me give you some info of the surroundings.
The place is inside the urban areas.....basically downtown Vancouver. It is near the east side where most of the drggies and cracks heads are. Hell, it's like "druggie's land" or "crazy guys' gathering sqpare" or whatever...you get the point. So yea, if you wanna play resident evil live, that's the place....just that you have very dangerous druggies then zombies or mutated freaks

I saw my friend is strugling from the man's arms. If that's not an attack then what the hell is that? That scum is trying to rape my friend!!!
So....I just ran up to the guy without thinking and land a kick right on the guy's face. Didn't know how hard I was going.....didn't even care anyways in that kinda situation. The guy was knocked out just by one hit. And my friend was still scare and cried like there was no tmr.

the cops came shorty after I dialed 9-1-1....they checked the situatiuon ....here that's the funny thing...they wanted to arrest me as well!! FOR KNOCKING OUT THE GUY
I was like WTF!!!
After doing tons of explaning and showing my license (when you got a black belt...you are offically a weapon even by bare hands. You get a license for that) They filed my report and my frd's report...I was free to go. My by came and wait at the police station as soon as he heard the news. After leaving the police station....my frds decided to stay at my place for the night....since everyone is tired after all the explaining.
It was a wild night...then i keep getting calls from the police and I almost have to go to court for this.....

yea Hime! kickin some...face. anyways, yea, good for you saving your friend. the police are morons, no matter where you go. in my moms neighborhood, they're lazy d*cks. in my dads neighborhood, if you were walking around town for 4 hours, ur bound to get pulled over for questioning bc the town never has ANY crime whatsoever(yet they spent 2 mill on a shooting range and a new station, leaving our school in a horrible financial position)

lol i have got arrested aswell i was in a gaststaion and i had a belt in my pocket and by hand over it the belt was black so the guy thought it was a gun my friend told me to wait for him he was in the bathroom stupid idiot, then i just stood there waiting for him with my hand in my pocket over the black belt supposivly gun, police cam i thought well som stupid F*cker is getting arrested i went outside to see wat was up i was told to get on the ground with my hands up they said take out anything thats a weapon so i just went on the ground after that hands over head they cam to me sticking there knee on the back of my head putting my face in pavement put handcuffs then checked me they found my belt they said dont u have a weapon i said no they took me to police station and crap for no reason for parnets to pick me up or w/e and told me not to do somthing stupid like thata gain

Well... the thing is...I jsut got a report from the police.....from the med report and X ray..... the damage was pretty great...there are cracks on his skull...of course the left side of his face......and muscle problems...

Still....I didn't back down...but those police just so annoying...they said I went over board or something...
I mean if I go and give that guy a beat down after one kick then...yeah....that's a bit crazy...but I stopped only at one kick!!!

Hime I can tell you just learned a great lesson in the art of POLICE brutality, now you have a small idea of what a police officer goes thru when some moron yells that phrase, and no kids all cops are not morons, people need to see that cops are just people too with special training and when that adrenal gland gets to pumping well it is hard to shut down your instinct and let your brain run things, thats why the laws for martial artists are in place, just like with any weapon you have or been trained with YOU are expected since having the training that you will have the knowledge to realize the force level you choose, OH and HI to you all from the ancient one of RGD !!

Hime knew that kick would hit the guy extremely hard. She could have opted for many different approaches to the situation.

Truthfully, no matter what Hime would have done, if she had prevented the guy from doing something to her friend in any matter, she still would have been brought for questioning. It's just the way police handle buisness. Unless the police witnessed the whole scene beginning to end, they don't know what happened. To them, two girls could have been attacking the guy..they have to do that sort of thing to get to the bottom of it...it sucks..but it's the process. When my store was robbed, I had to sit and talk to the police and detectives for like 30-45 minutes after just haveing a gun pointed at my head...I wasen't really in the mood to talk..but I had to to make sure they got everything straight.

However, hime lauching a kick to the guy's head was probably more of a reaction and less of a take-time-to-think move...which you can't really blame her. In that kind of situation you don't have time to stop and think what should you do...you just need to go with your first instinct...hime's happened to be ninja kicking the guy in the head...which he deserved.

You could have easily disabled him with a lighter kick, but you went over the top and nearly killed the guy.

Everyone has a valid point here. Yes to an outsider looking in what hime did was a little extreme. Could she have used a different take down? sure, but you also have to look at things from her point of view. it was a good friend being attacked. Now dispite her lethal knowledge and self control she is after all only human. It is in our nature, as kak would put it, to protect those that are close to us. Hime saw somebody she cared about in trouble and adrenaline and instinct took over. Just because one has the ability of self control does not mean one is always capable of using it. on a more personal note i think what Hime did was a very good choice. Look at it from the attackers view. the next time he even thinks about attacking a woman hes going to have what Hime did imprinted in his brain and he will think twice about doing it
