Howdy o7. Recently it seems like the game industry has been lacking content (atleast for anything that looks interesting to me) so I was hoping to get some suggestions here for some games. Thanks

what genres do you like?

FPS, Horror, WW2, Story Based. Single Player or Multiplayer.

You might like Black Mesa. It is a remake of the original Half Life 1 and is an incredible FPS with horror elements and an intriguing story featuring some fantastic environmental story telling. I have never played the original half life because it seemed too dated. However I always wanted experience it so this gave me a perfect chance to without having to deal with old game jank / bad visuals, and I am really glad I did.

Sounds interesting I'll look into it. I never played the original Half Life either only Half Life 2 which was pretty good.

Recently, I've been playing a game called Escape from Tarkov. It's a hardcore military simulation FPS. Lots of learning curve, and I'm not very good . Pretty much, you gear up with loot you've found or bought; go into a raid and try to kill and loot other players, as well as AI scavengers and bosses; and try to make your way to an extract without dying. There are also tactics to try and play "safely" while looting, if you're trying to avoid combat altogether. The looting is very similar to Diablo 2, as far as having to Tetris things around to fit your stash. There's a trade menu where you deal with traders and accept quests from them to improve reputation and gain access to better gear. Midgame opens up a flea market, where players can buy, sell, and trade quest items or gear.

Also speaking of Diablo 2, the remake/remaster comes out a month from now!

Lately, I become burnt out of games much more quickly than in the past, and am also looking for new titles, so thank you for posting this. Hope you find something!

Escape From Tarkov is a game I've thought about getting but I havent made up my mind yet. I dont mind learning games so Ill get it eventually probably. Thanks

There's this cool game I've heard of... Pretty niche you might not know it. I've heard it referred to as JKA, but it's pretty cool, you should check it out.

If you havent played Doom 3 its a great horror game. its old but itll make you jump quite a few times and graphics are actually good. play it with headphones on and plenty of volume i love scary games that make you jump a little

If I can interest you in a heavily story-based game that is also an MMO (and free for the first 60? levels) I would suggest joining Cult, Potate and myself (and soon to be Saki!) over on FFXIV. Great storyline, great game all around
