He turned his attention back to the rest of the room. A few people stood quietly at attention. The room's gray walls echoed with the officers voice calling out the names of recruits. The officer was wearing a gray clothing with no buttons or pockets. "Joshua Lateel", The officer called out. Well, here I go. He Thought. He stepped forward into the line of recruits and waited for the officer to finish calling out his new recruits. He joined the Navy for his parents who were in a major debt of 1,000,000 credits and they were poor farmers on the grassland world of Oshira. He joined to help them pay off the debt. once he was in his room with his roommates. A pilot, two soldiers, and a engineer. The pilots name was Jarick Hadaar a good man with great confidence in battle and the soldiers names are Hedrik Kataya, strong man holding an ion rifle with a great spirit and Lysin Weesall, a man with great skill in battle and some medical experience. "Hi my name is Joshua" , He said and the engineer said nothing. "Uh? Hello? My name is Joshua whats yours?" , To that the engineer said "Hi my name is Macuar Lyar. So your the new guy , eh? You chose a good naval academy." , They shook hands and Macuar went back to work. "All recruits come to the meeting area immediately. We have something we need to tell you all." , The officer said. "I wonder whats happened?" Joshua said to Hedrik "Lets go find out." Said Hedrik. They got to the meeting area and waited in position wanting to hear the news. "Our factions leader Nyshira Goshan has been assassinated and his successor has declared no mercy to any other factions or clans." Oh no, I do not feel as good about this like i did, Josh thought. "Hedrik how do you feel about this?" He asked. "Not good and I've talked to the others they're with us. This is not good." He and the rest of his roommates went back to their room to think up an escape plan. "So what are we going to do?" Asked Joshua. "We should steal some fighters and get off world" said Jarick. "No thats to hard and your the only one of us who can fly. There is no way we could all escape." Joshua said. "I know what we need to do" Said Macuar. "We need to take over the Darkest Shadow. Its a capital ship on its way right now, we just need a few more people to help us." Said Macuar. "Ok, but where will we find some more people?" Hedrik asked. "Its easy, surely someone will feel bad about this just like we do." Said Joshua "Hedrik And Lysin, You go ask around. See if anyone will join us if they do bring them here" "Yes, Sir" Said Lysin "Dont call me sir. I dont like it" Said Joshua. "Yes Si...Uhh Joshua." Lysin said. After Lysin and Hedrik left Josh, Macuar, and Jarick started to think of a way to get on board the ship and how to take over it. "Any thoughts" Asked Joshua. "Plenty, but none regarding the escape plan" Said Jarick. "We need to think of something" Macuar said. "How about we take out a few guards and take their IDS to get on board?" Said Joshua. "Could work, but we need to find out who is going on board?" Said Jarick. "I know who is going." Said Macuar. "How?" Asked Josh. "I'm secretly a hacker. I have a list of everyone who is being picked up." Said Macuar. "Good. Lets do this. We have five hours." Said Josh. As Hedrik and Lysin were walking down the hallway to the room with several other soldiers, pilots, and engineers they went to the room and heard the plan. By now they had four more hours. Joshua and Jarick had killed almost everyone on the list and had enough IDs for almost everyone. They had one more thing to do... Wait. Two hours later they were at the docking station that was on the side of a cliff. They all had an ID and were fully prepared for a full force battle. They saw a dot in the sky and knew it was the ship. The ship was hardly the size of a normal capital ship. "Everyone, Prepare for battle!"Joshua Shouted. As the ship Slowly landed on the surface the resistance soldiers Flooded the docking hall and opened fire on the ships crew that was exiting the ship. They invaded the ship and starting killing everything that didn't side with them. Joshua ran to the middle of the fight with a plasma rifle in his hand. There was explosions and blaster fire everywhere. Several resistance soldiers got hit with red ion bolts exploding. As the Resistance forces pushed forward against the weak ship guard they were hit with a blast from a sonic grenade. Hedrik flew back and hit a wall and Lysin was hit in the shoulder with a ion bolt. Joshua yelled a war cry and everyone attacked full force. As they made their way to the bridge of the ship the pilots launched the fighters in the hangar and began to attack the docking bay to prevent enemy reinforcments and also to destroy the garrison and get off Hijaria. The Resistance forces hit the bridge doors and set off explosives on them until they got through. Blaster fire hit several remaining soldiers and the Hyshirians either surrendered or perished. Two battle medics went to help Hedrik who had a broken rib and Lysin who's shoulder was severely damaged. "Oh, thank goodness you guys are ok. We did it. We won. The pilots destroyed the garrison and docking bay. The soldiers are almost all okay. You two took most of the beating." Joshua said. "We are okay, Josh." Said Hedrik. "Sir , we are launching the ship." Said one of the pilots. "Ok , and dont call me sir. Tell that to everyone , ok? Oh, and good work." Joshua said. "I'm fighting for the same thing you are." The pilot said. -
