Server: (JAWA) Events Server // /connect jawa2.jk3.in

Date+Time: March 30th at 8:30pm (JAWA) Time (BST) / 3:30pm EST / 2:30pm CST

Gametype: FFA

Map: Base Maps + JK2 Map Pack

Description:

This event is a modification of Gun Game found in many different first person shooters, such as Counter Strike. Everyone will start with rockets and attempt to get a kill with them. If they get a kill with the rocket launcher, they move down to the next lowest weapon (concussion rifle). If a kill is gained with that gun, then they move down to the flechette launcher, and so on. The last weapon is the DL-44 pistol, and getting a kill with it will make this person the victor of the round.

One player will be pulled at random to be the saberist for the round. The saberist's job is to kill anyone in sight. Each time a player dies to the saberist, they must go back up a weapon. Example: Someone who is on the Wookiee Bowcaster must go back up to the Imperial Repeater if they die to a saberist. If a player is at the rocket launcher and dies to the saberist, there is no penalty.

Rules:
  • Use only the gun that you are currently on.
If you kill a merc with your gun, move onto the next gun (one closer to the DL-44).
You cannot use your items or lightning.
Killing the saberist does not count toward your progression to the DL-44 pistol
If the saberist kills you, you must go a gun backwards.
If you get a double kill (e.g. killing two people with one rocket launcher shot), you do not skip a weapon.
If you run out of ammo, run to an area where people aren't fighting and type /kill in the console. You may not /kill during a fight to prevent someone from getting the kill on you.
If the host feels there are too many merc'd players he/she may introduce a second saberist for the round.
