Hello KR and KR friends,
I didn't know where else to post this. Feel free to move this topic if there's a better suited forum.
I wanted to take a moment and post something since I've been seeing a lot of faces on the server, both familiar and new. It's been amazing being able to come back and see the server and JKA community still so lively.
I've already said this to Falcon and a couple others, but for the rest of the KR people who knew me before (such as the rest of the council and quite a few now Arbiters and Masters), I wanted to apologize for the manner in which I left the clan when I was last here in 2013/14. I was incredibly inactive, which for one is not normal behavior on my part. My work history and career has always had a foot in believing that "communication is key" and I failed on that end. Especially the part of me that is a former JKA clan leader.... I can't let myself go by without saying I'm sorry.
For the newer faces of KR, I wanted to say hi and give a slight bit of my background. I'm a former KR member and also ex-leader of the JKA clan Peacekeepers. Unfortunately, Peacekeepers died around 2011/2012 when we made the transition to the MMO Swtor when that launched. That transition in effect, tore us slowly apart. I tried to take on the role of teaching PK about MMOs in general based on the experience I had with playing WoW, but I ultimately failed and the clan broke apart due to disagreements and other things that are not meant for a forum. Which is where my road with KR began.
I've had several people already ask me if I intend to rejoin. I have nothing against it, but I want to be sure on a personal level that I can make that commitment again and not fail at it a 2nd time (or is it 3rd now? I can't remember >_<). This also depends of course, on the Council allowing it. But I don't want to rush anything. I'm not making this my official request to rejoin. Yet
For now, I just want to be among friends, both old and new and have a good time. I really missed this game and this community. JKA has truly outlived anyone's expectations of surviving this long and I want to take advantage of the remaining time it has left.
