JKA: THE RPG!
Overview
Hi Everyone! I have created a JKA RPG from scratch, including full stats, combat, and mission algorithms. Your investment is low, except for replying to sign-up for missions as soon as you can, and choosing an effective character build for the battle! This game provides huge customization, flexibility and chances for character progression (better stats and rewards)! Missions come in phases, starting from almost 100% beatable with a maxed group, and an ending phase with a boss that a full team may not be able to take down! Those bosses however bare great rewards to the victors.
What do I customize for my character?

100 Points into Strength and Stamina : Your Strength and Stamina add to your Total Damage and Defense. You start with 0 of each, and delegate 100 points between each.
One Lightsaber style:
Blue: Less damage & Significantly increases Accuracy and Luck.
Yellow: Moderate damage & Moderately increases Total Damage and Defense.
Red: More damage & Significantly increases Total Damage and Crit Chance.
One Special Move:
One-hit: Significantly increases your Crit Chance.
Wiggle: Significantly increases your Total Damage.
Deflection: Significantly increases your Total Defense.
One Training Style:
Beserker: Moderately increases Damage in Blue and Yellow & Significantly increases Luck.
Duelist: Moderately increases Damage in Yellow and Red & Significantly increases Strength.
Guardian: Significantly increases Damage in Red & Significantly increases Crit Chance.
Gray: Moderately increases Stamina, Luck, and Crit Chance.
Finally, Two Trinkets:
1. Windu's Medallion (passive): Significantly increases Total Damage.
2. Kenobi's Resolve (passive): Moderately increases Total Damage and Defense.
3. Ancient Mandalorian Artifact (passive): Significantly increases Luck and Crit Chance.
4. Sentinel's Shield (passive): Significantly increases Total Defense.
5. Maul's Passion (on-hit): Small chance to increase Total Damage for the next 2 Attacks (LOCKED).
You can customize all stats before each battle, except for Strength and Stamina, which are only allocated the first time. As you progress through missions, you will unlock new styles, moves, and trinkets!
How do I make a character?
Reply to this post with your character's name, Strength and Stamina points (max 100), saber, move, training, and trinkets (2).
In example: Shinky, 75 Strength and 25 Stamina, Yellow, Wiggle, Beserker, Windu's Medallion and Ancient Mandalorian Artifact.
I will then create a table/leader board on the forums with current;y calculated player attributes and stats.
What are Missions like?
Missions will be posted in Anything Goes, clearly labeled. They will occur about every 2 weeks without notice; there may be some easier grinding missions that will pop-up too! A scenario will be described including exciting villains, and unexpected surprises. Each mission will occur in phases of increasing difficulty. Each mission will provide the number of enemies, their stats, *some* of the rewards and the max number of players allowed. Players must reply to the mission ASAP, once the max party size is hit, you cannot play in the mission.
How does combat work?
A player is randomly chosen to fight the first opponent. If the player successfully defeats that opponent, they have a 50% chance of escaping combat, and another player is randomly chosen to step in. As a spoiler, future missions may contain items that enhance escape abilities. Combat overall is run by classic RPG algorithms that I wrote, blending player stats with random rolls.
So, when I enter combat, what is being considered?
Your Total Damage: Value totally based upon your choices.
Your Total Defense: Value totally based upon your choices.
Your Accuracy: Base value of 50% & Increases are based upon your choices.
Your Crit Chance: Base value of 1% & Increases are based upon your choices.
Your Health Points: Determined moderately by Strength & significantly by Stamina.
So, what is Luck and Crit Chance anyway?
Luck: Moderately increases Accuracy and Crit Chance.
Crit Chance: Increases the chance to completely ignore your opponent's Defense.
What do I see when the mission is completed?
I will post the results in an artistic way, hopefully with the help of KR members. Results will be both written in story form and with graphics! There are numbers reported of course, but for example, if you crit and kill an opponent, I will write something like "With a single swoop, there are silence. Shinky slowly rose from his crouched stance, and the Sith Acolyte stood there for a moment. His body slowly separated down the middle. Sith Acolyte is no more (Shinky deals 324 critical damage. Shinky defeats Sith Acolyte). Of course this will only get better with time, if even a few people are interested!
So, please register your character for the new JKA RPG NOW!
