I really doubt it. There's no point in competing with your own top-selling MMORPG by creating another. Besides, THQ and their partners are going to beat Blizzard to the punch. They already are starting an MMO based on the Warhammer AND the Warhammer 40k universe. I don't think Blizzard should make a MMORPG out of Starcraft -- Diablo would be a better match, anyway. I would expect the next Diablo game, as the writers for their novels are actually working still and said that their books set after the second game weren't being written for no reason (hinting at the next visitation to the series). That, or they may even start a new series all together.

SWG was the shizznits before they started "updating" the combat systems. the first systems was great... people learnt how to exploit it so they made a new system... people exploited that so they pulled it all out and made it so basic people disnt WANT to exploit it and said they solved the problem.

I'm not going to get into an argument about SWG, because this is a SC2 thread, but if you can buff and get composite armor in the first day you play the game, it's kinda messed up. Not to mention half my attacks that I queued up never performed. That, and 90% of the missions were bugged.
As for Starcraft. The game is awesome. Singleplayer and multiplayer. I'm really hoping to see how Blizzard pulls this one off. Even if it's half as good as the original, it's going to be a really wicked RTS game.

ya the game got worse the longer it was out SOE is the stupidist company ever they thought they were losing players to wow so they changed the game to be almost exactly like wow then SWG basicly died only people that think the game is good anymore (idiots do ...) play it
