This is going to be the next generation of computer graphics..

A point I made on the consoel thread... IF PS3 had waited and opted for the 8800 NVIDIA rather than blu ray and 7950 ...

there would have been POTENTIAL for this sort of graphics to have been produced.. it may have sort have struggled..

Unfortunateley for consoles you will have to wait for your 8th generation probably .

Its a start anyway.. DX10 does really look like its going to be very impressive.

Well its always been a known fact that consoles could never "truly" surpass PC's when it comes to graphics but meh I actually dont care personally. PC has games I like and Consoles have games I like.

There is a direct x 10 demo out, Lost Planet, I'm not exactly sure weather it runs the full level, or just a benchmark. Also, I wanted to make sure everyone knew that for direct x 10 on a budget there is the GeForce 8600 GT.

oh no of course not.. thats not what i mean

the console market gets its technology from the PC.. in order to compete its had to almost take on a PC as a whole... XBOX is practically a PC as is PS3.. just consolodated and sealed, but yet not the latest latest otherwise it would be too expensive (only people with too much $$ earn that much to get the latest when it comes out anyway )

what i meant was that the PS3 could have had this when it was available... potentially anyway, but it missed out.. I think that anyway..

Basically i critisize Sonys approach than the console itself.

Come the next gen consoles you will have well what we see but much further on..

Yes there is a demo out.. BUT you can only view it properly with a DX 10 card. sadly I wager 95% of us dont have one
