Hey everyone,

So about half a year ago I played on KR alot and broke alot of your rules. I was downright disrespectful and I truly apologise. I went by the name of SWAG. After getting banned, and having been refused to be unbanned, I took it immaturely and acted worse. I truly apologise. I have waited 5 months or so before posting this because I felt ashamed and feel like Ive paid a price.

I hope you all can forgive me. I wish to play on KR again and promise you I wont break any rules.

Sorry, bad joke. A bad joke is what everyone viewed your previous behaviors as that led to your server and forum bans. You thought it was all a joke and left us with the lasting impression that you are not capable of taking our rules, our clan, or us as individuals seriously. We gave you multiple chances and opportunities to change your ways but it was all a joke to you. So, pardon me if I find it difficult to believe things will be different this time around.

Yes, you have apologised and yes, you admitted to behaving immaturely. But you apologized last time to... I doubt you could convince many that you have taken great bounds in maturity in the last 5 months, but that doesn't mean I believe you can't make an effort to change.

So, I ask you, what are you going to do differently this time? Why is playing on our server so important to you? What has changed?

Please don't percieve me as hostile in my words to you. Given the past, I'm just looking out for our visitors and making sure you fully understand what you are asking of us.

Note we have a rather clever firewall, which may recognise your connect and re-ban by default. If I see it do this I will lift the ban and correct that rule.

I was one of those victims you deliberately lamed me when my saber was off on ffa3 and I witnessed you doing it to a KR (black/red name ) admin also at the time preset.

On other servers normally I am not fussed but these KR admins are trying to keep a family friend safe environment.

I wasn't posting nonsense or was trying to screw you over more but jawfin caught you on the exact ip he lifted so you could play on KR.

There were multiple complaints from different players about your laming.

On the final occasion you were caught you were put to sleep. As you left from being in a punished state, I had no other option but to reinstate your ban.

As you've also agreed by your posts here you still feel justified in breaking our rules, I don't feel my decision was wrong. There is no basis for trust here. My decision has nothing to do what Wookiee said or did - in fact, it's simply based on what you did. And, your name was nemo.

I just hope you realise the number of trolls out there who actively wait for an admin command to feature on screen: 'X has been slapped' etc. and will RELIGIOUSLY go "X don't lame me!" every 5 seconds despite never having run into X. Yes I do admit to laming - I've lamed about 2-3 people in the past 60 hours I've played on KR because these people (especially someone called Luke / Anakin) were grappling into me and laming me endlessly. I apologise for this. I have taken every initiative not revert to my old flaming ways and to enjoy duelling with people. For the most part, I have gone by the name Pad and have made conversation with most people on the server and had a good time. I would not have left when slept if I was not so frustrated that only revenge lamers get punished and not the original lamer.

Admins can only punish what they see, so if someone is going around saying "oh, X is laming me" we might follow X for a bit, but will not take further action unless we see them lame in person. Same goes for revenge laming. If you get lamed, please report it rather than take matters into your own hands, because if an admin sees you lame someone, they will take action on what they see, regardless of who "started" it.

Truth has been spoken. I never understood what is the point of revenge laming. Since when fighting fire with fire was EVER proven to be a good thing? Both of the fireplaces will take each others air until they both burn out, and will never be lighted again.

Despite your pm's to me you've still missed the point.

You were banned for leaving while punished after being caught laming after several instances (and I'll comment that one of those was a KR member, and another a rather long-term friend of KR whom we know does not lame [ergo revenge laming could not apply]). So whatever hope there would be for you comes from your agreement to follow the rules regardless of provocation.

It may be our rules are too restrictive for your personality, as all we are hearing about your repeated excuses for breaking them. The amount of fun you derive from the server is not relevant if you lack such self control with respect to the server, admins and other players. (This guy bumped me so I knifed him, arrest him officer.)

Hey guys,

I got banned on my first day back on this game after a 6 year break. I am really sorry for breaking your server rules (laming etc.) and for all the atrocious behaviour of mine and the other people who were playing this game with me on my computer. I didn't really have a concrete name back when I was banned so I really don't know if there is any information I should give you to effect an unban.

I will definitely abide by your server rules should you decide to lift the ban.

KR is well equipped with many rules, and the admins of KR spend a good deal of time trying to publicise these rules. This is done equally in any society that you and I are currently living in. However, these societies have defences of infancy for children, realising that they lack capacity regardless whether or not we think they may have understood a rule or law.

This is evidently unclear in the realm of JKA - when is a young jedi knight to be deemed incapable of breaking a server rule even though he may have seemed to understand the rule? We do not convict a 10 year old for murder even if he may have known that murder was wrong.

That said, this is the defence that SWAG would like to plead to get unbanned. SWAG is a young jedi.

Please provide prose on the workability of the said defence. Thank you, Judicial Jedis.

You have been banned and unbanned multiple times - to my recollection at least 6. At each time the reasons for your ban were clearly explained, and all your questions thereafter were answered in full detail. Your inability to learn from this overwhelming amount of information is no doubt a shortfall for which you may suffer in real-life too. Be grateful that you may have learnt at least something there from this game - but, I think my hope is unfounded.

Are you really sure this is the tack you want to take with KR? It may be my fault, I was too lenient with you, allowing myself to trust you when you said you would not misbehave. That did mean though you already got extra time on the server which you didn't deserve. Unfortunately for you the other KR leaders who banned you no longer trust you to not be a disturbance. Dear Sirs,

I have been frequenting the KR server and been having a great time. I am sorry I kept laming and eventually got banned. I would really appreciate one last chance. In all honesty, I am migrating to a different country in a weeks time and I will be uninstalling the game permanently once I've moved. I don't want to make it sound like I have a terminal illness lol, but I'd love to play for one last week and I promise to follow your rules.

Ok then, ban lifted - but be aware of our level of tolerance. A ban is simply admin-action when no admin can be on, and done on a person we feel we cannot trust (or on Jato, just for a giggle).

I have a nagging suspicion that I am perhaps out of chances now. I acted stupidly and immaturely - in blatant disregard of how generous you and your admins were in granting me opportunities to correct my behaviour in the game. I scouted around JKA just now trying to find servers and there seems to be none that can compete with KR.

Failing an opportunity to play at KR any longer, I will decide to quit JKA once and for all having returned after around 7 years or longer. I just wanted to make a few comments about KR before leaving, and I make this sincerely without any ulterior motives.

1. Your clan is absolutely the most united and holistically great clan I have come across in all my years playing the game. I have been scouting through a ton of your forum posts now and I liked where you said your motto was to have fun, and not be 1337 players bent on world domination. Having been a part of clans such as Unorthodox etc. that were the opposite of KR, I leave this game having felt that I missed out immensely during my earlier years playing the game. Congratulations on being a part of the leadership of such an outstanding clan.

2. The exercise of discretionary power by any single KR admin was responsible, diligent and proportionate. I cannot tell you how impressed I am at the professional nature of the members of your firm. I found it fascinating that the treatment of players is routine and uniformly exercised by every single KR admin.

3. That KR is perhaps the one thriving server in a game over a decade old, and that you have lines of people wanting to be members in this day and age is telling that KR will probably go down as the most enduring and successful clan in the game. I got into this game again after feeling somewhat nostalgic having played daily many years ago, and it rocked my world seeing people like you still at it. Coming back for a taste was one of the best decisions I've made.

In closing, I just want to say a big thank you to you - for being so proactive on these forums, and for being so kind and humble despite having the discretion to ban people.

I guess I decided to write this post not because I wanted to convince you to unban me, but because I feel that this compliment and closing note is due to you for being so generous and awarding me tons of second (and umpteenth) chances.

I wish you and KR all the best I'll definitely pop by the forums from time to time to check up on how you all are doing. I hope I haven't caused any lasting offence to anyone.
