I have not recently been able to keep up with skinning requests, updates, etc. Not to say that I'm incapable, I've just lost a good deal of the passion for it and want to focus on other things. This has been a long time coming, it was just a matter of "when." A lot of my effort has gone into some of the services here provided for our skinning department. Ideally, I'd like to pass on these responsibilities to a worthy person or persons. What that includes is two things:
1. the USP
2. active KR-skins list
Both of those threads can be found here in the Skins & Models forum. What each one of these ensues is already set forth in each threads' details. They're both very straight forward, and obv. I am going to be around to help whoever takes over. I just really don't want to see these things die out. If I can't find a replacement then they'll continue under my control for a while.
Anyway, the good news is, I'm working on a small application that catalogs members' skins, maintains somewhat of a database on their info, and can even compile/create USP's with the click of a button. It'll be given to whoever takes over once it's finished. It's intuitive enough to remove unnecessary folders (things that historically I always removed like weapon files, string files, etc.) as well.
If you're interested in taking over either of these things, please respond to me personally and not here on this thread. I'll evaluate anyone who approaches me, and I'll extend personal requests to a few of you.
It was a good run!
