[[OotR] Andur Sunrider]

Greetings KR.

I am Andur Sunrider, a Jedi Master, and member of the High Council from the OotR.

I noticed a post by Kenshin at RGD, whom are very close friends and strong allies of ours.

One thing we both love to see is another strong and stable JKA clan, who are mature and know how to have fun. From what Ive seen, it appears KR is like this.

However the reason why Im here is to ask a question about the origins of this clan.

I have been playing since the original doom and jk days. During my mid-late JK2 days I joined a clan called KR - Knights Reborn. I was there and a councilor until the early days of JKA. The two head councilors were never around, and there was only myself and 2 other councilors. So we of course disbanded it, and went our own ways.

I was just wondering where this picked up and came into existance. One of the things were working on at OotR is our archives, and an archives that will span the history of jk gaming. So Ive added in sections for every clan I can remember.

When it is ready to go live for public editing I have no problem for KR members to come an edit the general sections and the KR section. You're also more then welcome to make profile pages on there about yourselves and your history with jk gaming. All I ask is that you follow the proper naming conventions which I will post when the time comes.

Andur... Thank you for your interest... I can actually answer this question since i have been around since the beginnning. This Clan was created 3 - 4 years ago by 3 persons Fluffy (AKA KFC), JA-someone-or-other, and Corem. I was a padawan at the time but i joined the day it was setup. The clan was formed from an active wing of the [FK] (Frozen Knights) clan. Since then we have grown from 3 people...to what we are today. Man makes me sound old... Fluffy is still our leader. The other two got washed away through the sands of time. If you have any questions on the older history of KR feel free to ask XD.

Hey guys thanks for the welcome.

Id love to find out the history of this KR sometime. It will have to wait when Im working on the wiki though. Simply because right now Im working on a new clan website and about 4 maps.

I also can fill in some info since I have been in {FK} Frozen Knights for a good number of months.

Ill give you this history of FK more over which will go with sparky's explaination (by the way the other guy was JDA my first padawan )

As far as I know FK started out originally with 3 leaders and were becoming an established clan but wasnt there yet. I only can recall two of there names which were TripleX (changed to Yoshi when FK disbanded) and Zenshi. Zenshi and the other guy left and TripleX became the only founding member and overall leader of the clan. He from there recruited more people who he and the few members that had stayed (ColonelAngus, Realmenwearpink!, Agent Smith, /<yle ect.) thought were cool people to hang around with. Around 8 people were recruited at one time before my group came. When I say group I mean there were 3 of us that wanted to join at around the same time whos names were Arconus(first rival), Lost Warrior(first good dual user I ever met), and me(who hadnt even picked a name yet ). I first got in contact with FK when I met ColonelAngus(under his other name TenaciousAnus) and /<yle who at that time I thought was one of the best fighters I ever seen. I fought them under the name Mario first and they wanted to recruit me. I told them no I just wanted to wander abit. Then I fought them again under the name Link (see the pattern?!) I finally said yes to them the third time and told them that I fought under 4 names(Mario,Luigi,Samus,Link). Once I waited my week with my group to get recruited I was not let in the first day I could have because I had 4 names. I couldnt pick one so they named me Nintendo (which I used ever since). From there the clan was really nothing but fun and we had a blast for the most part.
After a number of new recruites started joining that the "originals" thought were not up to standards (namely my first padawan JDA). they decided that they would start fake fights and actually try to break up the clan to start a new clan (which I was invited into for my skills alone) called ArcaneAcademy -A- . The only other person invited that I know of that turned them down besides me was ColonelAngus. He publicly fought and exposed them on our at the time FK forums. Once the TripleX (who had just then changed his name to Yoshi) officially disbanded the clan. A few members (KFC, JDA, and Corem) Started a new clan together which would be named -[KR]- Knights Reborn. They from there started recruiting people (mostly new FK members) to join the clan. I stayed away for a number of months because I didnt know who I could trust. Eventually since KR still chatted with me to see how I as a person was doing for months and -A- Never spoke to me again. I chose KR and was given by JDA (at the time Co-Leader) Automatic knight status (meaning I would never have had a master to train me). I eventually became a master myself and started teaching so on and so on.... and here we are now.

Sry if its so long but that was my personal experience with FK and KR which has both clans histories for the most part.
