Apperently this is easily true. Something about nomatter which way the picture goes its completely the same.

i loaded the page and she was going counterclockwise, then i looked back and she switched to clockwise, then, i stared for a whbile, and her top half went counterclockwise, and her bottom half went clockwise and it scared me

Just to clear up any suspection it is an illusion. I had four people in the room, my Mum, my sis and her mate. We were all seeing it going in other directions either anti-clockwise or clockwise, at no point did all 4 of us see it going the same way.
