    Battlefront 2 will have three times more content than Battlefront at launch.
A sort of off topic update, on that EA and Bioware collaboration. The upcoming game will be announced for 2019.

  • Some of Bioware's team is working with Dice on the singleplayer, further nullifing the time constraint.
    A bit obvious, but Boba Fett is confirmed as a playable character.
    Iden Versio's probe is apart of the single player squad.

I meant it is helping with the time constraint. Battlefront 2's announcement seemed very shortsighted - I wanted to clarify that not only were they in progress before Battlefront's launch, they have multitudes of teams to tackle each individual aspect of the game: The single player campaign, the mutilplayer, and space battles. This would normally hurt a game's developement. However, not only does Dice have a massive team, they also have the aid of Bioware for writing and developing the overall story.

Time for some things to know.
  • It no longer takes simply one strike to kill an infantry as a hero - it can take multiple.
    There is no longer a knockback effect when stricken by a lightsaber.
    As of the pre alpha build, which is the current build shown in the video, there is no cutscene to heroes and villains.
    Darth Maul has three abilities: Spin Attack, Choke Hold, and Furious Throw.
    Rey has three abilities: Dash Strike, Mind Trick, and Insight.
    In reference to one of my early posts, you can no longer randomly find Hero pickups. It is based purely on score earned.
    Heroes and Villains both have rechargable health.

  • Captain Phasma and Finn have been confirmed as playable characters in the first season of free DLC.
    Post Force Awakens content will be free.
    There is a cooldown for how many swings you can perform as a hero.
    The lifespan of each indvidiual unit has been increased. This will, as proven in Battlefield titles, encourage team effort to take down the enemy.
    Heroes and Villains each have rechargable health once outside combat.
    Heroes and Villains are far more vulnerable now. They take more damage and blocking requires more precision to sucessfully pull off.

Note that there is a considerable difference in terms of graphical prowness across gaming machines. Sadly for X-box fans like me, we will only be getting a maximum 1280 x 720p, whereas Ps4 has 1600 x 900p. That's roughly around 500,000 more pixels on display. X-box is taking a backseat, but that's not too big a deal. Of course, PC gamers can expect full resolution and no worries are set on there.

I'm so relieved they got rid of the powerup system, its so tiring seeing some people just camping the usual spots where hero or atst powerups are located, but I really hope they have a stronger anti cheat system :s

Meh. There were already aimbots in the beta of the first one, so I doubt this one will be much different. For the heros I think they should just make them annoying unkillable npcs like the original. They should also go back to a depleting ammo/health system. No more of this hide in a corner and recover crap.
