I wasn't expecting to have to do this after such a short time of being fully back and active, but I feel that my road is starting to split from KR. It's not because of what anyone has done, or said, but I think for a while I've been very conflicted on where I truly belonged.
I played on EU servers with PeaceKeepers for nearly 4 years straight, and was at a major disadvantage due to the lag. KR was a nice reprieve from that, and back when I first joined in Jun of 2010, it was quite the active clan. There would usually always be someone on the server for me to talk to or play with.
Nowadays, I find myself eyeing the server almost ever 10-20 minutes, HOPING for that chance that there might be more than 1 or 2 people online besides the 4 bots. At the most, all I ever saw was Falcon, Jawfin, or John. Not to say that seeing them was a bad thing, but even they have seemed to start getting on less frequently, or doing the same thing I am and watching the server from their UU/Server trackers. There were of course a couple nights where we had quite a few people online, but those nights were small compared to the days of watching and waiting for something to do.
I'm not blaming anyone or saying that this is a bad thing. I'm sure everyone has things they need to do in RL which is preventing them from playing JKA. But I feel that due to the circumstances, it would be best if I move on from here.
I learned a bit. I had fun. I met a lot of nice people. I even gained a few very good friends whom I will never forget or stay out of contact with. I may even still visit from time to time if I see people online. But for me, I feel it's time to move on.
