Phoenix Jones!

In case none of you have heard of him, he's the real life super hero of Seattle. He leads a group of such people called "The Rain City Superhero Movement" to fight crime in Seattle. There have been real life superheroes before him, but none were as experienced, or as good as he has been in the past few months.

I'd just like to hear your opinions on this guy :D

ive heard of him. sounds like good work, but what is the extent of it? i mean, how many gangs can you take out without police or swat aid?

I guess it would depend on how much will to act you have, because training is nothing, will is everything.

will means nothing if you can't put your foot up an attacker's nose when he charges :P

John, I haven't met you yet (I don't think I have o.O) but I like you already :D

See, the thing about Jones, and the Rain City Superheroes is that they all have either a military background, or an MMA background, so they already have skills and strength. So yes, in this case will is everything.... The will to act. :D

Lol I've put my foot across the face of many who had the 'will' in thinking that could get away w harassing/laying hands on me or any of my friends (note about me: 1 way to piss me off is by messing w my friends or touching them) and trust me, nothing like the feel of your steel-toe (yes i wear those from time to time, especially in these situations XD) boot smashing the side of your opponents head who thought he could take you sending him either down unconcious or w 1 hell of a headache to make your day. Training and skill are a necessity. However, like you said, without will to stand up for yourself and others it means nothing.

I love this Pheonix guy, and in all honesty I think people should take this lesson to heart, you dont need 2 b a super hero to do something.

I know, I was just saying that since these guys do have the training and the skills, they could take down an entire gang, granted that they have enough will, and the story reminds of batman, so, that's where the quote comes from. I don't have the skills but I have the will to act and steel-toe boots.

What makes me mad is that people think he's been inspired by Kick-Ass. If you've seen the movie (or read the comic) you'd know that none of them are actually superheroes. If anything, Phoenix Jones has been inspired by Batman.

And if you've been to reallifesuperheroes.org (I doubt it :P), you'd realize that almost all these people who call themselves real superheroes hate him. Why? Because he's getting the media's attention. Let's think about that for a second. Who's gonna get the message across to people? The guy who hangs out with his underwear on the outside with nothing better to do at night? Or the guy who has actually fought crime, and gotten the attention of the people?

As said in Batman Begins: "Theatricality and deception are powerful agents" I love Ra's Al Ghul quotes :D
