I hate how lots of people I know that play JKA are complaining that it is "dieing", because people are not on a server that much. Some servers beam with activity with a near estimate of 60 people coming per 10 minutes.
If we were dieing, all the servers would slowly be locked down and players would be leaving, therefore making the servers die faster. It is the process of all multiplayer games. I believe I am done with my words.

I love how I have seen like 5 different ways this topic has been approached.. It is only dieing if you don't make the attempt to play. And if you don't then yes. it seems like it is "dying" but only to you. Don't just go on one server EVERY time you get on JKA. Server hop. The game will either feel bot-infested or alive once again. Make JKA what you want from it. Don't just sit in a server with no one in it and then come on the forum to say "Bah no one is ever playing anymore! What is going on with this game? And where are the cookies?!"
There are over 100 servers(i counted). Go to one of those and play the same way you would on our server. Hell, I have even been the top player on some other servers.

In response to Phreedom and Greed, you two seem to think your the only two people that have tweeked onto the fact that the JKA community is not as active as it used to be.
What you don't seem to realise that as long as there are people playing the game, KR will be here. Every year you get someone posting "JKA is dying, face it", but every year you are proved wrong by the fact that KR is still here. We are not naive to believe that KR is going to be here in 5 years time, but all the time there are players willing to join then we will be here.
What you also don't realise is that the reason why member activity decreases is because people are given the impression that the game is dying and are therefore put in a negative mindset. If everyone thinks like you two there is no hope for JKA. So if you want my opinion, i'd stop stating the obvious and let the game take it's natural course.

I'd have to say that the inactivity is getting a bit... extreme? out of boredom I got on the AoF server and aparently no one showed up for the JAWA tourney on the 10th? I'm a bit confused seeing as the roster for the tourney was filled quickly, but never followed through. I'm sure everyone is busy with real life, I know I am, but is 10 minutes out of the week really unmanagable? If the question is asking too much then don't worry about it. Also, not trying to be insulting but it's kinda sad when every time I get on the server is full of bots

The topic is the server inactivity, and you can't deny that that IS one of the reasons. JKA lived for a glorious 7 years (or so), it will be put to rest soon.
Just cuz i say its dying doesn't mean you ppl can't play it. I play cod4, ppl say its a dying game bcuz of MW2, but I still play it (cuz i like it better). Don't any of u dare argue that 1

As Tiddly pointed out, I think that it is definately going to be a long time before JKA dies out. I don't feel that sitting here condemning it's fate helps anyone.
As I stated on the first page of this topic, server activity does drop this time of the year- and it follows the same pattern every year. So it is not out of the ordinary, all of the older KR members know this and will back me up. It's only the newer members that do not understand because they haven't ever seen server activity this low.

Obviously I'm going over the top here to illustrate my point.
To answer your question; no she was not kicked out. In fact she is still my Padawan. You could have just checked the rosters, I do not know why you didn't do that haha.
However kicking people out for inactivity is something that we, for sure, do. But we always give ample warning before so and we do a group "cleanse", not individual members one at a time kinda thing. So I don't want anyone to be surprised if and when we do a "cleanse" in the future.
We've done it 3 times in the past since I have been on the Council, so at least it is not something that is common.
Having say all that I am glad Suzie is back and I look forward to seeing her on the server as well
