First, I'd like to say that I'm sorry I've been dead on the server and forum, I'm really tired for some reason. Could have something to do with finals, but I've pretty much been sleeping for an entire week, and I don't know what's wrong with me so I'm just... sleeping more. And not playing JA because I don't have my disk. Because I'm a bad person and left it in my dorm room.

On to the main event, I took some of the money my mom sent me for Christmas and bought myself a cheap violin. Now I'm teaching myself how to play (I'm terrible, apparently, so says a random 5-year-old). Mostly I have to get better at bow-work, but that was a bit of a duh.
Since I'm a crazy mo-fo, I'm also teaching myself how to play some of my favorite songs, including (but not limited to): Theme to Stargate: SG-1, Pan's Lullaby (from Pan's Labyrinth), and the Imperial March. As for being even more crazy, I've decided that I also need to learn how to play some of my other favorite songs, and I've been charging random friends to tell me a song that I should learn. At the moment, this is what I've got:
Bad Romance by Lady Gaga (mine)
Build Me Up Buttercup by the Beatles (my niece)
My Humps by Black Eyed Peas (friend)
Please, help keep me busy until I get back to school and my JA disk by suggesting a song. One per person, and try to pick a good one -- one that I'll actually be able to play (so rap songs are pretty much out as far as that's concerned).
