The server has to re-update its ffa3. To see the pumpkins,ghosts,tombstones, etc the client will download a separate pk3 to make this optional incase it gives them lag.

If you dont have the clientside, you are still able to connect.

as for the objects, ive decided to make the download KR optional, as i intend to release the objects later on to the community {boba himself is helping me make them objects on their own instead of model replacements :o}

i intend to do a bunch of other junk to make up for the lack of objects for visitors

unfortunately i wont be able to do exactly what i wanted but meh -.-

I understand that you'll still be able to connect, but i'm taking it from your posts that the objects e.g. Pumpkins will not be viewable by a client that does not have the .pk3.

What will the client who doesn't have the .pk3 see? Will it simply not be visible? Because from my experience, if the server references a model that the client can't display the it causes the game to crash.

For example, if you spawn Ragnos (npc spawn ragnos) you'll find that shortly after executing the command your game will crash.

zab hasnt informed me of a possibility of game crashing, so ill assume they see nothing

Basically If you don't have the clientside .pk3 then you will just see the image of the 3 axis (screenies above). No crashing ^_^

P.S. I warned you about lightmaps sen >.>

i dont suppose u can hijack an existing model's name (a very small one, or invisible one) so we dont see the model fail vector lines

idk if that can work, itll work for peopel that dont have the model but i think itll mess it up for those of use who will have them
