Has anyone ever felt like they were not wanted by friends or family?

Because its been burning for a long time in me and i cant stop fighting it any longer. My life is being shot down by what i beleave is my friends, that are really stabing me in the back. The only rl friend that has not done this is Silvercloud... And i ow a thanks to alot of KR memebers to!

Yeh, don't worry about it. By the end of high school, there were only two out of some dozens of friends that I kept in touch with. Don't expect a lot from people, they'll only let you down.

Tricky is right. Friends come and Friends go. Your true friends/family will stay with you till the end. Its just best not to worry about it and enjoy the company of those you see as your friends.

Well I left school a good 8 years ago.. I only keep in touch with 1 friend from school and some other few but very rarely see them.

You will probably have one big friend who will always be with you, but ultimateley the friends you have a school college will at some point just fade away.

I left school a few months ago, now Im at college its new people I meet, none I have really associated with yet but to be honest its only a few close friends I have carried over and still see.

People change and if they are not fit for you, do not let them in.. Your family and real friends will always be there for you.

Its better to have 1 or 2 special friends than lots of aquaitances

Its funny to me...
One of my friends is mad because of something i did not mean to do on the game...i told him to get over himself about it and that i was srry....The jerk wont even look at me in the hall way anymore let alone talking...plus he makes up excuses on the phone to hang up on me...
(AKA- most likly not a friend anymore...)

An my family keeps bugging me every day...my father is a pain in the butt all the time...he never leaves me alone...

At this point im just sick of a lot of things in my life... And im not going to tolorate it much longer!

Do you mean JA as in "the Game", if so it seems a bit extreme to hold such a grudge over that especially one which seems an accident. I mean if you have apologised etc then teh ball is in his court to come to you.

Life can get tough and there are things we all learn from it, I know it sound clich but it a part of growing up. i do not know how old you are so excuse my ignorance.

As with your family you havent specified exactly what they do, maybe you shoudl sit them down and explain to them how they make you feel..?

as for my parents there is no sitting down with those idiots...they just say i need counculing (which i refuse to go to...hate some person that thinks they know everything about u when they dont!)

That's not what they do. Counseling isn't meant to make you feel stupid or like you don't know what's going on in your own life - it's to help you make better decisions with what you've got. If it's a psychiatrist or therapist of some sort, all the better. Personally, I don't think school-related counselors are qualified enough, but if you go outside of the education department I'm sure you can find someone who can help you out, in the worst case scenario. Most therapists and patients end up becoming pretty good friends, you'd be surprised.

Also, I don't know if calling your parents idiots is wise, especially if they're paying for nearly everything you have. Insurance (health, vehicular, whatever), for your education, for your shelter, for your food, etc... If they can manage to handle all that, I doubt they're stupid. That's just typical teen ideals.

what my first paragraph said, was slitting your wrists, u know... take a metal object make a nice little gash, watch the blood have a little party on your wrist... anyways some people do it because they believe it relieves any pain they might have... and eventually it gets to be a ritual, until they cut deeper and deeper and deeper... well i'm sure u know what happens when they get too deep.... anyways... i've been there and its not a good solution so don't try it.

a counselor can listen to you, if you do not find a rational conversation coming from your parents then maybe its an option to consider..

They are not saying you are this you are that, they are someone who you can speak to and then they can maybe try to see what you can do to help you move forward. To get you from where you are now to where you want to be. Or at least try to get you to put yourself on the right track.

Scy - Mels alot calmer now and very grown up nower days esp since she started college, although she still doesnt take crap or allows crap to happen to other ppl, she would still flip.. :s

I think throughout everyones life we feel theres a point when things do seem to be going to their worst. Always remember this when your at the bottom theres only one direction you can go in.. and thats ^.

well never forget ur rl. wand is my best friend in and out of game, but i also have a bunch of good friends but none come close to u guys. i guess its cuz we dont see eash other and cant not like someone for any one reason, we see each other on the server, but u still odnt see each others real faces, and i thinks that wut keeps us good friends

I figured it out the hard way. It happens to every child growing up. once you become a teen and start going to high school you become more of a rebel and you start to see what your parents are doing as dumb...you see the mistakes they make sometimes and you feel like they only stop you from doing things. Then you leave home and now you have responsablilities that you never had before(bills, job, college payments, credit, and small things like laundry, food, and other things). This shows that not only did your parents have to worry about taking care of you. But they have to take care of ALL the responsibilaties you have now and you really see how they worked so hard to raise you and keep life good for your family.

yeah thats definateley one of the biggest lessons in life. sole independancy, a job paying a mortgage for your house all teh bills education and having to put a meal on your table..

There is alot you dont even have to think about or even realise these jobs exist until you leave home..

Then you can appreciate yoru family. I do not think what is happening is anything out of the ordinary its just a stepping stone in life.

Whatever is causing your grief meybe the solution will find you than teh other way around.

my god damn counculer is saying that i have to take a online course along with this other one in school or i have to go back to the other teacher that i have.... And i felt like choking that dumbass teacher...WOW i hate my life and everyone that injoys makeing me even more missarable... Anyways- thank u for all the good advice and stuff...

it helped up until today...When i get on the game next i might have to be silenced...JK just JKing....i will be good.....
