he guys, i havent been on in a loooong time. i came back to say hi for one, and to say my hard drive issues are solved. i know have 150GB of space all to myself (for anyone who cares to remember my cramped 40gb drive)
so in my quest to cleaning up my space, i found someone who learned how to install windows xp to a flash drive and have it boot to it. so i traded a cd with "portable windows xp" for a copy of windows vista lite, a version of vista that runs at just 660mb of hard disk space, or so i think.
i was wondering if anyone has heard of this and if they have the ISo and have burnt it, how they got it to install vista. when i powened the cd it did not have any kind of setup files. a bunch of .exe's that just opened command shells, a couple bat's that did the same thing, and one that sed "install complete.exe" and it made my comp restart....anyone have any idea how to get this to install vista?
(btw my computer is telling me i have 3 disk drives....D, which is my dvd drive, E which is my burner, and G which ive never seen before...any help?)
