I hear SanDisks are very very good.

Although iPod you cannot go wrong with.. only down fall is I think you may still have to use iTunes which is if your on a Mac good, but if your on a PC its quite frankly nasty. If you can bear that though..

ya ipods are the best mp3 players ive owned lol. before them i had an iriver and uhhh dunno it was like a fake ipod or sumthing anyways ya. and itunes isnt that bad on pc.

iRiver was a totally seperate make? the like for like comparison between them two at the time, the iRiver seemed the better option.

I dunno I would probably say iPod is a good bet, although I agree iTunes is not the best kit to use at all..

Sureley you can run it without? if its flash can you not just use explorer and drag it in?? I have a 4GB flash zen and that does that?

The one you say you are going for is an excellent choice of brand, I personally have a creative zen V plus and it is very good, I havent come across that one before but I imagine its very similar to mine, I admit I have had to have mine replaced once under waruntee because it completely stopped working but that is a good thing, that they will just replace it on the spot if it breaks (you might want to check before you buy cause I got mine from Currys, wherever you get yours may be different)

But yah, it comes with very user friendly software which you dont even have to use, it can be as easy as copy paste/dragging.

Sorry for the long winded paragraph, let me know if its good if you get that one. Also a lot of my friends own zens, all of them have had little problems, just as much as you'd find with iPods (which suck :P)

i ordered mine from amazon for $199, much better deal then an ipod nano, which is only 8gb and costs $187, not to mention mine will have a SD slot that will add 4 more gb. and yea i went to test it out at a circuit city a few days ago and i agree that the menu on creatives are very nice, and seems very user friendly. this is my first time with a creative so i got my fingers crossed

I got a Creative Zen 4GB V Plus refurbished for only $58.99

I loovveee it. Creative is a good brand. I'd choose them over Apple any day.

Oh i didnt see the picture load

Well if what Saunby said is true id go with that. Zens are good players, you cannot go wrong and at least you can drag n drop..

I have no idea who's the manufacturer of my player. It came as a subscriber gift from a local computer magazine. o_O

I meant how you get on with the player.. how you find it etc.. not literally where i find it to purchase

 #29083  by dent

i went to circuit city to go look at and tinker with it before ordering mine, but im not sure if you have any of those in the uk, but whatever electronics store carrys them usually puts them out for people to try, if that answers your question

lol dont worry.. I think your missing what I asked.

 #29085  by dent

what do you mean by "get on with" it, we don't use that phrase here :(

 #29092  by FlapJack23

Melissa wants to know how you like it? I think.

 #29099  by Chantelle

Dunno whether its perhaps british lingo but yeah I am sure thats what she meant

how are you finding it = how are you finding it to be like? how is it going?

 #29113  by dent

oh ok haha, but if thats the case i like it a lot, all the things ive used are very user friendly, ive been listening to it for awhile now and the battery life is longer then my other players, video quality is good and the screen is good looking, the only things i havent liked so far are that the buttons are kinda noisy, and i havent figured out a way if there is any, to turn the screen completely off so it doesnt waste battery while listening to music, overall very nice though
