However often we see aload of garbage on the screen usually the error message and code however is a good indication of what has gone wrong.

I can honestly say its been years since I had BSOD but Melissa had one on her machine which was down to a bad driver well actually a device not being plugged in properly
And at work an old laptop user had a hard drive go.. the site was very useful in determining this.
