I don't necessarily "not" believe in God. I'm just one of those who has an extremely open mind.
I believe:
a) Religion COULD[/emphasis] just been an easier way to understand the creation of the universe.
b) There is always a logical, scientifical explanation for everything; including (?) God.
c) There could be a God, only interpreted (not wrongly) but differently.
d) What's the point of religion if there are ALWAYS competing religions. Theirs only one truth, isn't there? Why should it be interpreted so many different ways. Can't we all just get along?
That's MY belief, anyway

People need to believe in something greater than themselves, its the constant striving thought that keeps us thinking this isnt all there is to life theres a power greater than us. Also its a way of dealing with death if you believe theres something after death then it loses its sting somewhat.... and as the saying goes if you believe something strong enough it makes it true

I do have my faiths and beliefs
Problem I find is... religion and differences in beliefs seems responsible for more killings than anything else
