I mean, this has happened twice: one night I think " hey i should play jka again....oh look there's an active server.. (I use vpn for my business and I forget that i have it on),Kicked...."wow, what? that weird" try again. Kicked. So I do some research-turn off the vpn, then I get banned within seconds of joining. this has happened twice now. I know its not because I made people mad or anything.....I have been playing since JASA WOV and DOX days and have fought back against toxicity my entire time on this game and have never been banned from a single server, Id love to get back into this game but getting banned from an active server for doing absolutely nothing may be hurting JKA as a whole Just saying.
Its delicate wording, you weren't banned for using VPN - I mean, OK, so, the VPN was banned. And its not that we inherently have anything against VPN (beside the fact you cannot possibly play a highly timed game like JKA on a VPN), its just the undesirables and trolls use VPN in an attempt to be a further pain, thus they poison those IPs & server farms etc.
But the problem also is they try quick switching between IPs (I think its about something them not having a life) and thus spend hours [seriously!] trying to bypass the firewall so they can spread their ugliness. Ranting over!
So we trained the firewall with AI to track down how they are connecting and ban them from the source (if anyone believes they can connect to a UDP server and remain anonymous they are seriously misinformed). In your unfortunate case the firewall just did the same thing - usually I see it when it hits the innocent so I deeply apologise for not noticing the firewall dropping on your real IP.
I lifted the ban before I even wrote this. Sorry again.
