You ever played Jedi Academy, but wanted to make your own lightsaber? Are you too much of a scrub unlike the great Mandalorian who can create his own lightsabers extremely easily using real 3d models? Want at least SOMETHING of yours in Jedi Academy? Well now you can!
Introducing, "Your Personal Lightsaber"! With Your Personal Lightsaber, you can take this little dumb lightsaber model, and apply ANY texture you want, making it YOUR LIGHTSABER!

Step One: Gathering Resources
Open up "MakeYourOwnLightsaber!.pk3" using either pakscape or WinRAR. Navigate to models-->weapons2-->MakeYourOwn. Copy or Extract "lighttest.png" to your desktop. Doing this a second time is recommended to make a backup of this file.
Step Two: Making your own saber!
Open the "lighttest.png" file that you have extracted in a photo-editing program, such as Photoshop, Paint.net, or GIMP. Edit the texture however you like! You could either do simple edits on it, or get a different texture from the internet, whichever is fine!
Step Three: Put it in Jedi Academy!
Put the now edited texture that you made back into the models/weapons2/MakeYourOwn folder found in the "MakeYourOwnLightsaber!.pk3". Now you have your saber in Jedi Academy!
Optional Step Four: Putting in custom sounds!
Find two mp3 sound effect files you wish to have your custom saber to have, and name them either "SaberOn.mp3" or "SaberOff.mp3". Place those files into "MakeYourOwnLightsaber!.pk3" in the sound/weapons/MakeYourOwnSounds folder.
Optional Step Five: Allowing your saber to be in the KR server through saber replacements
Follow this here tutorial that I made a while ago to find out how to make your saber replace one of the default sabers so you can play with it online!
