Hello all,

Just chilling on the server when a player named "Jka player" lamed Kaliko Kitty once. He was instantly slept and ghosted. He expressed frustration at not being warned for his offense and claimed he would report Kaliko Kitty. Upon hearing this, Kitty immediately silenced him.

I don't think this is an acceptable use of silence. He did not avoid filter, curse, harass, or provoke by claiming he would follow through with an admin complaint, an official feature provided on this forum.

When confronted about the use of silence, Kaliko Kitty reacted in ways I don't consider acceptable for a KR admin.

When confronted further about this, Kaliko Kitty reports she will tell an admin that the player did all of this to piss her off to justify her actions when there is 0 evidence of this.

Throughout this encounter, a player named ISHNARE attacks Jka player with consistent use of harrassing and curse words. Kaliko Kitty takes no action.

To help explain the rules an admin may conduct themselves I'll let you know that once they've been through the "sleep cycle" any admin action is warranted to reflect to offense. Directly laming an admin would be such.

Having observed "Jka Player" on server the last few days this does not surprise me. It may also be noted there multiple game clients on his connection playing on KR, and they cooperate to be annoying.

Also, this complaint would be brought by the recipient (he has a forum account) and not yourself.

Time stamped for logs started when I was dealing with a lamer.
Was not even talking to this player hit my please do not lame bind.
Reply was ( I know ) I didn’t say anything to them I go sit down.
Bam hook DFA so yes the pics real he thinks I favor ishnare.
Nothing I can say about that as I posted on him before.
He was threatening and claming abuse so I left him there and silenced him.
I started taking it off and he keep crying so I left ghost on.
He never got the point why he was singled out.
So I left him that way for maybe 15 minutes then let him go.
So nothing I can do but let the council make the call.

I posted links to screenshots. I am not aware of any guideline on the forum that says a complaint of admin abuse must be brought by the recipient.

Keep in mind, the offense I am reporting is silencing a player for claiming he would report an admin. Not the sleep/ghost.

i will respect anything done on this but all i wanted from the guy was to realize why i did it in the first place.
I was not talking to him at all and he singled me out I really wish it didn’t go down like that.

He was slept for laming (again), that's undeniable.

He should then be using the privilege of chat to explain why he won't do it again, and can be trusted. As I see it he is arguing why he should be allowed to continue laming (i.e. feeling the sleep was unwarranted and is expected to be allowed to lame again before the admin can act). If he honestly feels persecuted he can post as the victim. Thank you for your concern.

Just confirming what balboo said is true. I was in the wrong to lame i know but i was in a giddy mood. I lamed kaliko kitty once and she slept and ghosted me for 15+ minutes, which i thought was too extreme. And then i said i was going to report her for it and she silenced me. There was also a player called ishnare that was sticking up for her who was repeatedly swearing and threatening me. She didnt admin him. She also told me to break the rules and to recon if i wanted to be unslept and unghosted, i didnt want to do it because i thought it my be a trap.

Are you seriously going to pretend you don't see the problem here?

An admin silences a player for simply saying he is going to make a report.

Is that justified? Absolutely not.

I wasn't aware that you are now the advocate for perceived admin injustice now baloobee. I unlike others have never had a problem with you. I do disagree with your 'social justice warrior' ways. I find it hilarious you are so passionate about ensuring our rules are followed yet complain about them viciously on the other hand. Whilst
this decision is pending, prehaps you could let me and all KR know your endgame? what are you out to achieve? Things will go quiet on the forums for a while then you will find some Drama to dredge up. I suppose I'm like a daddy and your taking my daughter to Prom i kinda wanna know your intentions. Is it your goal to shut down one of the last few bastions in this game? Are you the self appointed anti KR server lawyer? I want to know mate. As this complaint from what i can tell has Absolutely nothing to do with you. Yet here you are again fighting against KR for your own outcome. What is that outcome?

The KR Council have addressed this issue internally in a manner we felt appropriate to the situation.

I hope we can all move on from this, and just have some good fun on the server.
