hey everyone!

Not exactly sure what to think or who to talk to about this, but ive been personally experiencing a recurring issue with FFA-ers. Now FFA's are all great and fun but a small group of people have been going to places where people arent FFAing (under the arch on mp3 for example) and just starting an FFA in the midst of people just hanging out talking. usually people just say "hey can you take the FFA out there" and i tried that but got flak about how WE were supposed to move out of their FFA and how they werent laming beause it was a FFA. i think you guys can see the circle of confusion here.

i know most admins tell folks to keep the FFA away from said hang-out areas but i was just wondering what the actual guideline is for this.

In general yes, we try to tell people to keep the ffa away from where all the unarmed people usually stand/hang out. However, this is tricky on some maps. For example, on ffa3, most people hang out under the arch or in one of the buildings and the ffa is usually out in the open so there's no problem. But on korriban, most people both hang out and ffa on the open platform, so that's a bit tougher. I don't think there's any official rule for this (someone correct me if I'm wrong!). If people won't listen to your requests for them to move the fight elsewhere and there aren't any admins on to ask them, then it's probably best to hang out in a different spot for the time being unfortunately.

i wasnt sure what KR's view on it was thank you for clearing that up. im sure ppl were just trying to troll, but i wanted to make sure i didnt do anything wrong haha.
