Did you install the game on its own or through steam?

Looking at the errors he got, you can see the directory of where the game is installed. It's from Steam.

AJ, give this a shot:

Go to the GLDirect page on SourceForge. Download gldirect5_opensource.zip.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gldirect/

Extract the contents. Go to the gldirect5\bin\release folder.

Copy opengl32.dll to your GameData folder.

Try and angle your teeth to hit if you can. Works 9/10 times!

At first I thought the topic said, "JKA not laughing".

I once had this problem, and I had to use an OpenAL dll file, for some reason. That was my only fix. Now I don't need it, but I used to.

I already have an openAL dll file in my gamedata folder, but it obviously was no bueno :s

you can try verifying integrity of game cache, or maybe reinstalling it? :/

Been a while AJ, I see how you had a difficult to get on Jedi Academy Game. I do not know any solutions, but I am sure some has some solutions for you. The one I can helps and give you, usually when I have a problems that is shutted down, which means you might have a missing files that can hidden anywhere, or depends on the behind of the reasons. I usually take out the importance of cfg, files and everything I might need to keep for the next reinstall to delete all what was on the path of Jedi Academy files. It usually will helps. So, AJ, will this will helps you in any chances? If not, then I don't know what else can I find a solutions.

Jedi Academy works fine on Windows 10, so I doubt it's that.

Update graphics drivers and/or use OpenJK. I thought this was the default answer to everything now.
 #148323  by AJ

OpenJK works, but lags way too much to even attempt enjoying :<.
And my graphics drivers are up to date.

My does something similar if I run the application directly. I found a solution was to have it autorun by accessing it via cd drive.
