So I'm needing to get rid of some pens, and I thought 'what better way than a book?'. I suck at making ideas and though I would try something out. I'll take ideas from KR community on era/subject of the star wars book, and I'm also going to take an interesting thing for the book...

Any KRs who want to can put up some characters to go into the book. It can be modeled after you, modeled after you JA character, or even... Just a character. Since I'm keeping this list on paper in a nice little table of characters, I need it to be set up in a certain way:

Name of character
Species/gender of character
Characters preferred weapon or saber color, type, stance
A short bio of the character. This is so you can give me a feel of the characters personality.
Your preference for their role in the story

I will include somewhere once I start transferring pages online (probs with google docs) who gave me which characters.

I think this will be a nice project and social experiment, to see how this mish-mash of characters would turn out. I also feel that the story would feel more natural, as the characters are all made by different people.

My first idea was for a kindof after-Jedi kind of situation: The Jedi order has fallen and the remaining Knights (and friends) work to create a new home for order in the galaxy and a rebirthing of the Jedi Order called: Knights Reborn.

At least that's just the first idea I had. Also, feel free to make the characters either protag, antag, or simply even a character we meet. during book that's not too huge but still an important or even unimportant role.

Name: Yariya

Species: Human (Female)

Weapon: A purple saberstaff

Bio: Yariya is a 13 year old girl, abandoned in harsh environment, who has lived for years with no communication with anything outside the holocrons which relay messages to her from her dead parents. Her mothers staff is all she has to remember them by, as both her parents were jedi generals in a recent conflict, her struggle is to find a way off the planet she is on to learn more of how her parents died, and find peace. Her isolation leaves her a very keen insensitivity to the emotions of others, with little regard formthe lives of those she doesent value. She isnt prone to harming those that do not present a threat to her, but she has difficulty grasping concepts like objective morality. A logical, ruggedly individualistic person, Yariya will find working with a team difficukt, but will respect the structure if it means advancing her goals.

Role: I would like Yariya to act as a supporting character for a team or party, finding companionship and serenity in the company of her peers. Hers ought to be a coming of age story interwoven into the big picture. Her personality ought to change over like to a more sensitive team player, yet capable on her own.

Putting my main character up for an example.... I just put my name in cause I can't think of any star warsy names...

Name: Aaron
Weapon: Single saber Medium style, color light blue (0 165 255 ingame)
Species: Human Male
Role: Main Protag (3rd person limited, probably)
Back story: Became a Jedi initiate some years before, and managed to survive the fall of the Jedi order. He was the last to have spoken with a council member, who had encouraged him to keep the Jedi going in the event of a collapse, before granting Aaron the rank of Jedi knight. The name of this new Jedi order: The Knights Reborn.

Name: Glarifor (couple hundred years old)

Weapon: Vibrosword (Character uses the force to strengthen it, making it lightsaber resistant. Can break under continued punishment. Something like this was done with Vodo-Siosk Baas, who uses a stick, rather than a lightsaber.)

Species: Near-Human. Unknown species, basically. Use Master Fay for reference http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Fay

Bio: Glarifor progressed through the old Jedi Ranks quickly, however never liked the weight of a lightsaber, so instead used a Vibrosword. Though he has a sword, he rarely uses it in combat, preferring to use esoteric force abilities in fights. Upon becoming Jedi Master, Glarifor was only seen in the Jedi Temple once every 10 years, as he decided his efforts would be better put to use in lesser known regions of the galaxy. Because of this, Glarifor is unknown to almost all Jedi, despite spending his life doing great deeds. Despite living for a few hundred years, Glarifor is able to maintain his youthful appearance through his great connection to the force, having long golden hair and strong features. Glarifor is stern and has a dry humour, however he is warm hearted and wise.

Role: Supporting character. Though it's up to you :p I really wouldn't mind if he turned up once and that was it

Galrifar is now in as char 2, aside from my own. On our way, but I would rather have more KR-made characters before I start writing. I think I can make out some character-specific intros or events forming in my head, but I don't know.

This is why I wanted to do this kind of thing; I never would have thought of characters like these, and this kind of thing should really help the story feel more alive and realistic.

[Jawa]

This is a great idea I love it so i'm gonna throw in my own idea

Name: Hac Faced
Gender: Male
Race: Jawa
Weapon: Sniper rifle (stolen from a tusken)

Bio: Born and raised on Tatooine with 2 younger sisters and his mother. Hac lived in a poor village under the control of tusken raiders, only reason the tusken's did not kill the jawa's is because they provided them with food on a monthly basis and scavenged materials used to craft weapons, armor, devices etc.One month the village could not provide the tusken's with enough food and supplies, they grew furious and lashed out against the jawa's and said ''if we do not get the food we need, you jawa's will suffice" Hac was not going to just sit around and let him and his family get eaten so Hac pleaded with the tusken's to give him more time to forage food for them, the tuskens thought it over and agreed to let him leave the village. Hac assured his family that they'd be safe. Hac's mother turned to him and gave him a necklace for good luck, Hac grabbed his sack and waved goodbye and he was off. A few days passed since Hac left and he had found himself 3 womp rats he thought to himself that it would be enough then smiled and walked home. Hac had just made it to the front entrance of the village and headed towards the chieftan tuskens home to deliver the goods, The chieftan was satisfied and let him go home. Hac rushed back to give his family the good news, but when he got back they wern't there it was odd cause he had never seen his family take one step outside the house. Hac started walking around searching for them, the more he walked the more nervous he became he started turning his head swiftly looking left and right, behind him. All of a sudden he stops, his eyes widen and a cold sweat drops from his face, his heart was racing his hands were shaking and he could barely move, in front of him were multiple marks on the walls and blood smeared on the floor, Hac had feared the worst, that his family had been killed and disposed of. Hac was frozen in one spot unable to grasp the reality of the situation he screamed! Hac clenched his fist and his eyes were filled with rage you could almost see a hint of black aura surrounding him as he suffered from this deep depression. Now Hac knew he did not have the strength to avenge his family but he couldn't stand aside and do nothing, he mustered up his courage and hatred and lashed out at the first tusken he saw. Hac had killed him off and stolen his rifle he used it to shoot the guards at the front entrance and left the village with his sack and his mother's memento. Now Hac lives in Mos Eisley waiting for his chance to escape Tatooine

(Sorry if you didn't want a whole story for a Bio I really couldn't help it)

Role: not really sure can be a support role, sidekick or even there for comedic relief im good with anything

I have one that I used before in an old rpg. I adapt some parts of the bio so it fits the purpose. Actually I have a 5 pages bio of this char, separated in 5 chapters but obviosly I simplified a lot here. If you want to see a can PM you the whole thing. See if you have interest. He is a nice dude

Name of character: Dayo

Species/gender of character: Human Male

Characters preferred weapon or saber color, type, stance: Single saber (medium style), color green. Only use it as last resource.

A "short" bio of the character:
Dayo was born in the middle of a war. His parents died in the crossfire while he was still a baby.
A recent jedi master that has been questioning the order and the role of the jedi in the galaxy, was assigned to a mission at this planet to put an end at the war that has been going for too long. The war was over, but the people were broke, lots of unnecessary casualties and a big wound inside their hearts. The Jedis and his troops started to come back to the temple but the master was unhappy about the situation of the ones who remain. He feels a call from the force and leave, breaking his vows and becoming an exiled, he believed that this was the only way that he could actually help the ones in need. By doing so the master found Dayo in the middle of the ruins from an old town, he knew that the boy was a force sensitive and decided to take him as his own son.
Dayo was raised in the ways of the force with the most pure sense of kindness. Over the years he and his master traveled undercover through the galaxy helping the ones in need and and because of that Dayo develop an impressive healing ability, using even crystals to enhance the power.
During one of their "missions" they were ambushed and his master was killed. Dayo managed to get out alive with serious injuries and see himself alone and lost.
After healing himself with a healing crystal of fire, Dayo went in a deep meditation. After some time, not sure how long, he knew what to do. He need to find someone at Coruscant.
Arriving there, being guided through the force, Dayo heard a voice calling him: "I was waiting for you".
It was Aaron, a Jedi Knight. Dayo knew the path was clear now...
(this ending is just a suggestion )

Your preference for their role in the story: Backup guy. I imagine him as a jedi healer that despite of all, has a heart full of hope and joy.
