I'd like to start off by saying that KR is the friendliest and most fun server I've ever been on. I realize that my online user name (NuttBusta) seems inappropriate when taken into consideration. The inside joke behind it is the fact that Nutt is my last name. I've been on this server for a few days with the name and haven't had any problems. Last night, I was confronted by KR Snowplower (I believe it was, and I apologize if I messed up the name) and I said that I would be more than willing to change the name. After saying that I would, I sat there a minute contemplating the new name. I first tried Creatine95 (which is a weightlifting supplement), but then I thought "Nah..." So then I tried BeastMode. As soon as I changed it to BeastMode and closed out of the menu, I walked like 5 steps and was then kicked. I tried to rejoin the server and I was banned. If BeastMode is also an unacceptable name, then I will change to something else.

Besides the name, I have not caused any trouble on the server. I said the word n00b once without knowing that the word should not be said on the server, and after being told by Rogue that it was inappropriate, I apologized and stated that I wouldn't say it again.

I only received one warning about the name, and I changed it soon after. I'm just not sure on why I was banned and I would be truly grateful if this ban was removed. Like I said at the beginning of this post, KR is the best server I've been on and one of the only active servers I've been able to find. It's literally the only one I play on.

Thanks for keeping it respectful. Unless there was a council admin on at the time (which snowplower is not), you were picked up by the server's auto-ban functionality for some reason. Jawfin runs that side of things and should post here shortly clarifying the issue.

You've been very respectful on the server and I'm happy to see you carrying that over to the forums as well.

I agree that your current(old?) name is a sexual reference (even though I might classify it as borderline-ish), which we don't allow on the server, and Snowplow was correct in pointing that out.

Your name (minus the inside joke of course) does not match your personality, therefore I'd advise you towards changing it to something that better represents yourself on the server? 'Busta' sounds good to me but really the world is your oyster.

As per the ban, MasterM is correct. Chances are you chose a name that belongs to a very bad lamer and therefore the server auto banned you. Feel free to ask Jawfin what names would be good and he can check them against his lamer list.

I think I'll stick to Creatine95. I don't think anyone else has that, haha. BeastMode probably got me auto-banned because I can only imagine someone coming onto the server with the name "BeastMode" and just laming mercilessly. Do I still need to contact Jawfin regarding the username "Creatine95" or should I be able to join the server with that name?

Welcome to Forum!! Like Rav and other mentions that we want to make sure you pick a better and appropriate names that is not contained inappropriate name, because after all we are a Family and friendly server. We always want to be sure that is not offend or making other uncomfortable with that name. I know you wasn't aware of our rules when I did warned you once when you bypassed the filter. It's there for a reasons. Lot of people always use that terms to offending anyone, and that why filter is set in place for reasons.

I'd like to invite you to read this links, once you get to know our rules, then you would know what to do if you was on our server. If you're not sure or if you want to ask a questions, go ahead and asks, and we will not bite you!

I appreciate all of the quick responses! I just read the server rules that Rogue posted and now I'm fully aware of what is acceptable and what is not.

Well I changed my name in UU to Creatine95 thinking that it would carry over into the game. As soon as I joined the server, my name was still set to BeastMode. Banned again.

Ha yea I saw that BeastMode fire - I removed that rule so should be good now.
