There has been a TON of hate on The Phantom Menace. One of the most popular complaints is the introduction to '' Mediclorians '', saying that it contradicts what Ben Kenobi would later say was a '' Energy field that surrounds us and binds us ''
Well I want to tell you something: They are the exact same!!
Let's turn back to what Qui-Gon said: " Mediclorians are microscopic life form that resides within all living cells. And we are symbiotic with them. Life forms, living together for a mutual advantage. Without it, life could not exist. "
Now let's bring out Ben's description of the Force: " The Force is what gives the Jedi his power. It's a energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us, it binds the galaxy together. "
Allow me to draw your attention on two lines mashed together
Qui-Gon: Life form that resides within all living cells.. Without it, life could not exist.
Ben: A energy field, created by all living things.
What I think is that the Force is Mediclorians, microscopic life form residing in the cells, it generates life and surrounds us, and penetrates us. The Cells generate life and bind us all together, creating a energy field that allows those sensitive enough to manipulate it.
That's not enough? Fine, let's look at some other things.
Remember when Ben Kenobi felt the deaths of millions on Alderaan? He wasn't just magically feeling death because.. He's awesome that way. No, he felt the mediclorians perishing. Those sensitive enough to manipulate mediclorians feel their presence the most, and anyone not sensitive enough ( I.e Han Solo ) wouldn't feel it. This sensitivity is both good and bad, as Jedi and Sith alike feel the death of people, drawing on the energy field being slightly lessened by each death.
This is also how I believe Jedi " Feel great darkness ". Satale Shan, who said this, was feeling the mediclorian's emptiness and the way Mediclorians were used to kill as well. The Force is not a simple tool, it is simply, life. So it WILL be complicated no matter what. Qui-Gon simply explained what the Force was and HOW it worked as well. Jedi just don't stretch out a hand and can lift things, for one you do not need that title as it is just that: a title. Another, when Force Sensitives channel the Force, they are simply in a intimatcy with the Mediclorians.. Exposing themselves and opening themselves up to the Force. They FEEL the life teeming from people around them. They then use that generative energy field however they please.

Bonus Theory: Padme didn't love Anakin.
'' I hate sand. It's rough, course, and irritating. I mean, it gets everywhere. "
How in the galaxy would anyone fall for this line and be charmed to the speaker of this abomination of subtly?
Well, no one. I don't think Padme actually loves Anakin.
Anakin is the chosen one.
Anakin has the highest Mediclorian count ever in the existence of the galaxy. If you are following my earlier theory, this will make sense as well. Anakin, being THE MOST SENSITIVE TO LIFE EVER, cannot and never DID control it. His feelings did. The Mediclorains would simply obey his command. And since his feelings were so strong for Padme, being the most powerful being in the galaxy, his mediclorians '' seized '' her's, and attracted them. This is not the first time this idea was used. In the Expanded Universe, a book called '' Exile '' by Arron Allston, a young man named Zekka Thyne attracted young women using the Force. He was not the most powerful Jedi ever, yet still managed to do so. Anakin, who had no knowledge pertaining to this area, as it was early in his training, didn't know what he was doing. Padme wasn't sensitive her cells at ALL,and so she had no idea. She was captured, she suddenly felt a inexpliable lust for Anakin. It was never genuine.
It certainly wasn't his charming LINES, was it? no..
It wasn't chemistry, was it? no..
It wasn't physical attraction was it? no.. Because she seemed to have that under control. Yet look at Padme in the movies. She can't take her eyes off of Anakin and constantly dresses in strange ways, She seems to breathe hard. The closer Anakin, granted a untrained Anakin, is to her, the more she falls for emotion. That's because he is minipulating her mediclorians to his own, and he doens't even know it because he has no idea about his power. Training would better discipline him, but because he has such sheer potential, power is bound to leak outside him without him knowing it.
What do you think of my theory?
