So you all have been probably wondering where I have been since I have somewhat vanished.
What? You're not? ;_; okay, well, this is what I have been doing!

Art. What else can I say. Basically, I asked some friends to send me pics of their games, whereupon I'd try my best to enhance the visuals, hand drawing with Photoshop. You will more than likely recognize some of the games. I may make more pictures to add, but other than that, here's the lot.

And finally, a random one, where my brain just barfed colors.

Thanks to my bud for sending me pics to mess with. All the lighting and lack of UI in some pics are the best of my editng. Keep in mind, I have only been using Photoshop for awhile and am quite new. :> Hope you liked it.

Context: I feel like I may have made the Ebon Hawk too romantic what with the darkness and the pretty lights :S Sorry bout that
I also felt like Republic Commando could use a bit of J.J Abrams to it, so I made the HUD blue and added some extra lighting, as per usual.
The pic of Revan unmasked actually had him completely clean; I had to add the scars and mask marks.
With KOTOR, I always felt like the characters needed some eye contact work. Most of them seem walleyed or unfocused. So I made the Handmaiden's eyes more alive.

Hm. I like the visuals, but they aren't as appealing as I would like them to be. Let me draw you a quick example of what I describe as beauty:

Took about a minute to draw, but it should be enough to get the point across.

Okay? I don't see any problems with playing non cannonically. Otherwise, I do not see anything comedic when playing as a male. Perhaps you should be more specific?

Yeah...

Of all things you could have chosen to say to the guy who took time to share with you, you choose that...really dissapointing Goll.

On topic, that kreia edit looks pretty cool frog :)

Typically, Fem!Exile has the better love interests, or at the least the more developed ones. In both cases, the romance subplots are kinda...lacking, in that we never actually see the relationship head anywhere. In the case of Male!Exile, Brianna/Handmaiden and Visas pine over him, and the only indication we from either of them are either declarations of loyalty, or really emotion-driven actions, such as Handmaiden taking on all of her sisters in combat, and then attempting (Failing) at fighting Atris. In the case of the latter, Atris even makes mention of Brianna loving the Exile, but beyond that, there's nothing substantial. The only thing even remotely powerful in either situation is if you go Dark Side, and then (providing you have more influence with Visas than Brianna), Brianna will attack and attempt to kill Visas on Malachor. And since that isn't canon, there's really no point to mentioning it, other than context.

With Fem!Exile, we have a similar situation between The Disciple/Mical, and Atton. They both have feelings for the Exile, with Atton developing them first, and then later feeling threatened by Mical's presence on the ship. This leads to tension between the two of them, with Atton basically telling him to 'go sit on a rocket', to paraphrase one of his quotes later on in the game. Same situation as with the Fem!Exile's love interests. It never goes anywhere significant, other than the cut ending that has Atton going with the Exile on her journey to find Revan. We get nothing other than a few vague mentions here and there, but no 'kiss', like we had with Male!Revan/Bastila in KOTOR 1, or even along the lines of Fem!Revan/Carth. It's like the writers attempted to have these romantic subplots, but they ran out of time to develop them properly.

It's interesting to note that Mical wasn't even in the game from the start. Brianna was supposed to go with you regardless of your gender. Somewhere along the line that got changed (sadly).

Overall, I love playing as Fem!Exile more, but I prefer Brianna over Mical. I also like having the Exile as Female, since it's a parallel to Revan being a Male canonically.

I think they're great, especially the Qui-Gon ones :>
