Well I was on the server, and for some reason I said 'Fudge sake' *cannot remember why* and I was muted. This is not avoiding the filter nor swearing, and is not harmful to little children's minds. The muter was: -[KR]-Deadlock and deadlock has done this once before, but I let that slide. It took place on 21/12/2014 *DD/MM/YYYY* at around 7pm.

Thank you for report, the reasons I silenced you yesterday I believe so. I asked you for the 1st time that you do not have to swearing or avoid the filter. You use swearing word and place 1 word to something else and make it still swearing, it can be insult others what you did, then you did the 2nd time the same things as I mentioned, so I had to silenced you for few minutes accorded to what you did wrong by avoid the filters. And I have a 2 screenshots if you guys go ahead and see this.

as you can clearly see i said 'fudge' which is not swearing nor avoiding the filter, also saying 'no one gives a chocolate cake about you' is not flaming, because simply it isnt

Here is my input
It can not be decided by simply one individual what flaming is or is not, its not that simple
Simply put, my definition of flaming is insulting anyone in any way, and from what I've seen from the screenshots DeadLock had the right to silence you if the person you were pointing those words at was feeling insulted or started to feel uncomfortable
Even despite being warned not to do it you decided it was a good idea to keep doing it
Note that in KR we try to keep it nice and friendly for everyone to enjoy

Ok aries, I was almost ready agree with you then Deadshot was nice enough to show us his screenshots and completely changed that. When you be saying "Fudge you" or "fudge off" we know what you are trying to say, I mean we are not idiots. So, I would agree with my admins and the way they handled it. I mean if you had just only said "no one gives a chocolate cake about you" or "for fudge sakes", then in would agree there is not enough reason to silence you and that you were just goofing around. Given that fudge you/off are clearly forms of obscene comments or remarks that have absolutely no context to ever be used on our server I can see why are admins punished you later for seemingly less harmful uses of fudge since you had used it as a substitute for an inappropriate word, which was all to obvious. The lesson here is that substituting a appropriate word in a phrase that is inappropriate does not make the phrase less inappropriate. Don't test boundaries in the future as it will harbor more distrust from our admins.

We're sorry for any misunderstandings or problems this has created for you. I hope we can move on from this.

I understand you aren't idiots and yeah vinry is a close friend and we goof around. To be honest though, I respect your rules and understandings, if you walk past a small child and he hears you say 'fudge you haha' I don't think the small child would see it as swearing, he will just ask his mother 'Moom can we get some fudge?' or something. But like I said I respect your understandings and I will try to refrain from saying 'fudge off' and 'fudge you' but if I read correctly I can say like 'fudge sake', correct or no?

I understand this whole thing is somewhat confusing. Given that KR could be argued to have some of the strictest chat rules in JKA, there is a lot of context and grey area in which to consider whether or not something is appropriate or not. So, as problems like this come up which seem to lie mostly in the grey area, there will be some confusion among are admins about how to judge and admin the situation. Hopefully, the Council and higher admins can analyze the situation and explain things a little better for the lower level and newer admins so that there is less confusion when similar incidents come up in the future.

And yes, at least in my opinion, saying 'for fudge sake' would normally be acceptable.
