/bind xx "+back;wait 2;+attack;+moveup;wait 2;-moveup;-attack"

This will make you do a backflip kata for the staff instantly.

As we don't condone cheating within KR, and using a script like this would be considered cheating, this script is more for interest alone.
Most clients don't allow binds with multiple commands, specifically ones with "+attack" in them, and require a patch to run - yet another clue this isn't quite...honorable!

Besides, it could do with some improvements!!

With respect to being locked, threads such as mods, graphics and such are not locked as they are timeless. It's not like they age as do news posts, and such. This thread is viewed as a proof-of-concept; if it were outright cheating it wouldn't be locked, it would be deleted. We'd only lock this if it actually became outdated (like old mods do) and have a link to the recent version.

Side point: if you can't staff backflip without a script then I suggest playing point-and-click adventure games.

Back to the Future 4 was awesome, it had action, story which was both awesome, mind blowing, and a true treat for the fans. As well as Doctor Who adventure games mind your words jaw...point and click games could be fun ..

But yeah, this script is sorta pointless in my opinion, since sometimes part of the fun is the fear of getting the move wrong, and dying before your enemy as they say "lol".

There's nothing 'wrong' with point and click games unless it's just not your genre, he meant what he said; if you're unable to do something as simple as the staff back-flip w/o using a script, he suggests to stick to something where you just 'point and click'.

Crouching is not necessary, and does not make your jump any lower. All it does is prevent you from increasing height on successive frames (as would not holding space) and lowering the top half of your bounding box.
Also, bind mouse2 +movedown master race.

It's actually quite simple to staff backflip thingie without binding it. And yea, I think that's what the jump bind does. Looks like it.
