Not sure where to post this, but I know it's a known error.

I just logged in from school. ( A few miles from my city) using a vpn server.
I got instantly banned.
Requesting Unban.^^

You were never banned. I won't deny though that a proxy you may of inadvertently used got banned, but you were not. KR is a real server, use your real connection, and it'll be fine :)

I know I didn't get banned. But the server did it itself upon the request. I can't login here without using my vpn.
When I connect it still says banned. It could also be that someone got banned using the same IP address as this VPN is currently using.

The OVH SAS proxy is blocked - in fact I'm surprised you even managed to see the server. Why is it though that you have to use a proxy? I mean, I wouldn't of thought that just an unnecessary overhead - extra hops on the route, etc. For instance, your original post was done through the proxy, and your second post through yet another. If you use your actual IP on the server hosted by NFO it should connect just fine. If as you say you can't post on the forums using your own connection (which I can't understand why) then if you PM me your IP I can check the server is OK with it.

Its just the configuration NFO runs for us, to keep the loser script kiddies away, sorry :(

I study IT, so the networking admins tryhard to keep us from doing stuff we shouldn't. I used a external vpn server to connect to. It's in france. It should be able to make me bypass the list of servers, and then login to most servers. Yet yours seems to block it. I'll try rerouting the traffic with my pc at home.

tl;dr : It's better to keep it closed, scriptkiddies ftl.

Ah, I see - you're at a university. I can poke a hole through the defense for a specific IP - so if you connect to KR with your name I'll see it in the reports later and make an allowance, and if you know of a IP you can consistently use I can put that through as well.

I could try that. Thing is, The vpn tends to swich IP's every now and often. Well Ill PM you about it later.

Thanks for the help tho. Ill hop on in a hour or so. [from home]
