the title says it all. lamers and flamers everywhere. and no admins. can an admin or a counsil come on right now? theres someone really acting up here

As I've only noticed this post now, and have been on server for an hour and a half since Falcon told me, I think you may want to look into getting one of the IM applications we use, Skype seems popular to most.

i know im not part of this clan, but i believe we should concider shifts. people who are reliably there everyday who can manage this LAMING problem. ex, we had a FULL server on2/16/13 where admins were scarce. not blamin admins at all, however, i believe an admin should be present during such times. the only way to expect ppl to abide by our rules is for the rules to be enforced. people should WANT to be on KR server. therefore, having an admin pressent would make our rules a satandard. if i am wrong please tell me. i understand i am only an APP to you guys, yet i cant help but feel like i can help. this is your clan. just showing KR some old fashioned initiative is all.

Well the thing is most admins are available via Steam or Skype. Fortunately because we have members from so many places in the world there is bound to be someone online at all times. Considering the fact that the admins on this server are not paid, having shifts seems like it would be too much of a commitment especially if it was for several hours a day.

I mean this is all just my opinion if people are into having shifts then I am all about it.

too much commitment? to our Clan? doesnt make sense to me. i understand the whole diff part of our world thing.. but someone should ALWAYS be on during peek hours. were all worried about the same thing but i feel its time we actually do soimething about itl?! perhaps i am wrong which i am known to be... im sitting here smashin oreos wondering how else i can help out. see the origional greatness that used to be here. it is up to us to pass that knowledge on.... NOT only with lamers but skill and determination too. do not doubt or chastise me... for it is our duty to better the community we have created, not be a part of the "game". please inform me if i am at fault....

Admins were available, they just weren't scanning the forums every minute, thus the suggestion to use IM.

This is a game. We also have real lives. If my real life needs me I will walk away from the server regardless of what is happening, hacks, raids, lamefests, whatever, and I would expect any other admin to do the same. Regardless though, IM is the way to go.

it wasnt you jawfin, please dont take offense...ANYONE please dont take offense... maybe i am from a day of old, where myself and anothers were taking shifts, taking responsibility for something we believed in. YES it is a game.... and YES i know we all have lives. NOT an issue WHATSOEVER!!!!!! I still believe that during PEAK hrs ANY admin should be on. IF i am wrong then plz inform me of how.. you have failed to do so. i do not see how i am wrong here. PEAK hours..... 6-11 wk days and 4-3 Weekends. ive told meta this in PM, You can check it FAL, me and RONAN ran the (Jedi) server towards the end cuz eveyone else gave up on it. am i suppose to think that everyone is giving up on KR as well? just dont get how all rules and regs are out the window, yet no noone wants to step up and uphold them. Meta tried telling me how i am wrong and i do NOT understand how. if ANYONE can please explain than please do. i know this is only ONE GAME and that we ALL have lives... but if we are to be in this clan, then we should ALL have to give somethiing of oursevles towards our cause. IF i am wrong, post it public, im not afraid of being wrong, im more afraid of losing a war which i have no part in... =[

There is nothing more to explain. As it was said, it is a game which we all enjoy, but it isnt the most important thing in our lives. Some of us have work, school, girlfriend etc. You cant expect us to watch server 24h a day. If there is lamer (or sb else who is breaking rules) on, contact one of the admins, thats all.

As long as someone came to do something. I think the server is safe.

We care about the server, but as has been mentioned individuals do not have the ability to monitor the forums constantly or take up shifts on the server due to real-life events and conflicts. Most of the clan uses IM services such as steam, skype, msn, xfire, etc. so the best course of action is to contact an admin via one of those services
