Not sure where to put this so I'll put it here.

We were discussing the maps in the server rotation. I know I'm new here but we wondered if FFA1 Vjun Sentinel and FFA2 Korriban Tombs could be replaced with FFA5 Taspir and FFA4 Rift Sanctuary.

Or maybe we could put it to a vote. Just an idea.

FFA5 lags the server too much.

We did have FFA4 on, but it was removed as everyone always complained about it.

If there is support to change the maps, we can see about getting the rotation changed again. So feel free to discuss everyone

Could substitute ffa5 with the duel version. Probably doesn't lag as bad.

The duel version has been customed for MP, if you recall it also has the Academy embedded in it too!

It it lags too much I can remove the lava.

I like our current rotation so if you dont have to remove any i would love tp see 4 come back.

by that you mean have a rock bottom ot looks like lava but it will not kill you if you go in it?

I fully support the removal of Korriban. I think it'd be cool / fun to change it to Taspir.

Either both. But if I remove the image of the lava I won't kill you if you go to that area, that just wouldn't be fair! It is the image that lags people, not the fact there's a trigger death there too.

then disregard Taspir. I didn't know it lags the server until I read these posts.

I'm all about t3_stamp, but it lags... Just thought I would bitterly complain again.

So, I'll propose a map rotation and ppls can post their improvements on it and hopefully we'll have something that suits.

Seriously why not just put them all... Lol. Who actually lags from these maps? If you do lag from one of these maps, would you please say so? I know it may not be a matter of our members but visitors experiencing graphical lag as well...

As JKA dies - might as well savor the flavor until belly-up is all too imminent. I think if complaints are being made about the map, then actions can be taken to improve on them. We could easily have members on the server monitoring guests' experiences, we could even ask how someone's FPS is fairing.

I'm all for change, it keeps things fresh, interesting, and moving forward.

I support this motion. Change is a good thing. Too much change is damning.

As Key interjected, JKA is on a semi-scalar path, on a semi-downward trend. The moment it becomes a vector, which it might with the upcoming of several new games (ESO, H4, etc) I think we should go all out,
but of course this is just my two cents.

I would suggest changing the site to IPBoards, but phoenix isn't here.
