This is a little short page or two I wrote, hope you guys like it!

"Sean"
The voice echoed throughout the empty corridor surrounding the entrance to a beautiful home that this voice now suddenly alone; lived.
"Sean, where are you"
The voice was maturely feminine. The owner carried herself over to a large set of dark oak doors - the one on the left slightly ajar.
"Sean-"
Her voice whispered the name into the mid-day breeze. She sounded as if she was talking to herself. She opened the heavy, soft door with expert clam. Down along the old stone path, leading to the numerous sand dunes that made up the beach she lived on, a boy stood on the beach. Watching the late tide rise and fall; gather and wane.
Her son.
She smiled a motherly smile, allowing herself to observe keenly what her son was doing; magicaly without looking aggrivative or aggresive. He had his hands in his loose silky-like pant-pockets; he stood sturdy, looking out to sea. His large, angelic eyes swallowed by the depth of the sea. He turned to look at his mother, his gentle face bearing the same smile. His eyes were a brilliant turqoise; so young and bright, as if they emitted their own type of caring warmth. Like the sea. He was thirteen; and he acted like any other thirteen year old would.
In that moment, she felt the wind blow as it blew. The water rush as it ran. and sand shift as it fled under her soft feet.
She waked down the norrow path, eventually watching the tide rise and fall just like her son; right by his side.
She brought him in close, her fine, long, creamy-brown hair drifting behind her like cut fabric as she embraced him. She ran her pettite hand through his close-cropped dark brown hair.
"Amazing, isn't it?"
Sean stood there for a moment, taking in the fresh sea air, and filling his mind with thoughts of protection and strength.
"It reminds me of dad" he responded with an innocent tone
"I know; he loved the sea."
"He loved you more than anything, my boy"
Sean looked up at his mother, his large eyes swollen with tears.
"Why did he have to go mother?"
She felt her heart crack and snap as she looked at her son; she felt his pain, and she hated her husband for it. Also at the same time, she loved and missed him dearly.
"I don't know, my boy" she struggled to keep herself from breaking.
She peered out at the endless mass of water in hope of seeing something on the horizon. There was nothing to be seen.
"Lets go inside, it's getting dark; it'll be cold soon."
Inside, Sean slipped into a loose oriental-styled robe. He shuffled down the spiraling staircase, and waded over to the large round chair- big enough to fit two people- and propped himself up; crossing his legs and placing his hands loosley in his lap.
Seans mother sat lounged on the long divian, her flowing robes drpping off the elegant lounger like water, and smiled at him humorusly.
"You look comfy; i'm glad you lke it so much here."
"It feels just like home" Sean grinned
They lived off the southern-most coast of Nova Scotia, just outside the town of Sambro. They built their house in a place called Sandy Cove. The house was built in a Japanese style, with slated rooves and sliding doors on the interior. They had lived in Japan before; while Sean was growing up. It was where he was born -more importantly- it was his ethnicity.
Seans mother made excellent food. Every time they ate, Sean felt enlightened; lifted of his responsibilities as a boy -which don't include alot of tough things- other than taking care of his mother. That would soon change in way Sean could never imagine. When Sean and his mother moved from Japan, it had more than an emotional price. Sean had connected himself to many things where he had lived. It gave him balance. It was a relief that Sean found himself feeling at home, whilst being so far from it.
But even that was not entirely true. Sean wasn't that far from home. Many other native Japanese people came with Sean and his mother. In fact, they had all been fleeing the same crisis. A war. They all moved into Sandy Cove, and they all built houses of Japanese style. And they all consisted of a mother or a father, tending to their children or child; but not both.
"What's on your mind?" Seans mother looked at him with a truely concerned look.
"Nothing- just thinking about home"
It was hard for Sean to take his mind off of it. His father had been one of the adults selected by the order of the white lotus to fight the 'Blue Devils'. What were they? Sean had only seen one in his entire life. Even that, he was still trying to understand. It had come for his mother. But she didn't get hurt. She just waved her arms in an odd motion, and the Devil froze. And then it shattered- into a million pieces. It didn't look different from any other person Sean had seen. It looked like one of his friends parents, or maybe one of his teachers.
"Are you hungry?" Seans mother interupted his train of thought.
Sean nodded excitedly.
"Well then, would you like to help me cut the fish?"
Sean and his mother cut and washed the fish, and then coated them in a light glossy marinade- it was Seans favourite type of sauce. They chopped up leek and onions and put in it a pan. Then they sliced garlic, mashed it, and added it to the mix while it was frying.
After they finished eating, Seans mother sat up and waited for him to put the dishes away and finish cleaning the kitchen. He came and sat back down in his chair, and smiled gleefully at his mother.
"Sean, there's something you and I need to talk about"
"When do I get to play with my friends?" He asked, interrupting her.
Seans mother contemplated this for a few seconds, before replying in a cautious tone.
"There's something you need to know before that can happen, my son"
Sean looked at her blankly.
"About why your father went off to war against the Blue Devils" She inserted. "There's more to what he and I told you. Much, much more. It is imparitive that you know before you turn fourteen"
Sean looked down at the table. He had noticed his mother being treated differently by the other parents. The way they looked at her, it was almost as if they were disappointed; as if they were confused with something she had done. Sean remembered what happened when the Blue Devil came to his home in Japan. Perhaps it had something to do with that.
"I want you to know that you're not in trouble. This is something that needs to be dealt with before you get older."
Sean shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He didn't know what she was going to say. That scared him.
"Do you know what your father was?"
Sean looked at his mother. "He was a soldier. Right?"
Seans mother tilted her head slightly "Not quite. He was a soldier in a sense, but he was a special kind." She waited for him to finsih thinking. "Your father was a Water Bender"
