ok so lets make a scenario.

bob and joe are on the server,and bob starts trolling joe,as bob is a realy good troller he makes joe realy realy mad that starts flaming him.

than normaly on the server,the admin silences joe for flaming,but we all know that it was bobs fault for him flaming,cuz he pushed his buttons.

so wouldnt it be fair to punish bob,before he angers joe so bad that goes out of hand,and starts flaming.

because like this,it seems like we punished the wrong person.

so i know that anoyence,is not against the rules but,its that anoyance that make people break the rules.It doesnt have to be flaming it could be even laming.

so my question here to make it easyer,is,why just not stop bob trolling joe?

Trolling is something simple to ignore to some, and others a difficulty. Reason why we don't do it: If you were to say someone else was trolling, when the person they were speaking of had not intentions of trolling, and was just making a statement of his opinion that would be an offence to you saying..."Oh he's trolling...silence." When really, it was just an annoyance to you and only you.

Problem?

Silence both. Warn bob to stop aggravating joe, and tell joe that flaming isnt the answer to trolling. Tell him to report to an admin if bob is forsrsly trolling him.

Trolling is an annoyance, which can to leave to broken rules..

What bob has done is called "provoking". What this means is he wanted him to break the rules, and tried his hardest to make him do so. This is, like Zab said, an offense you may silence for.

Side note here: Do not be eager to use your admin powers. It is not something that is a source of fun, or something you should like to use. It should only be used when absolutely necessary.

ok so when lets say joe is silenced,what do i do with bob for making joe raging?

Same procedure with anyone that is swearing, flaming, etc. Warn once, and then silence for 5 minutes.

For the most part, anything verbal has the same blanket procedure.
