Knights Reborn

Heya guys, just thought I would post something along the lines of an update for the Machinima I want to start. At the moment I need voice actors more than anything, I have people that can do the model acting parts ^^.

What I am basically going to offer up here is a choice of 3 characters that will be a part of a 'squad' of sorts, they are not the only people there's a couple more but those are reserved for the model actors ^^.

The 3 characters are up for grabs basically to anybody who wants to be a voice actor and perform other helpful tasks along the course of this project.

Name: Aiton (Aye-ton) 390
Nick Name: Bait
Specialties: Automatic Weapons and Vehicles
Nick Name Story: On one of his first missions he was a part of what some call a "Hazzing Ritual", in which his fellow squad-mates told him to run off with a fake flag in the opposite direction of their target while they took the real one to complete the mission. The resulting incident could best be discribed in his own words: "OH GAWD, WHY!!!???", this is the phrase he screamed out-loud as several platoons of Brutes and Jackals chased him down a hillside... accompanied by a Wraith.
The squad that used his as bait was later court marshaled for knowingly sending a team-mate into enemy hands. Unfortunately the name 'Bait' stuck with 390 as he was transfered over to his new squad, all members of which heard of the incident.

Name: Zaden (Zay-den) 459
Nick Name: Trapper
Specialties: Explosives and Defense
Nick Name Story: There was an incident involving high explosives, in which 459 had not only gained his nick name, but also lost his right arm. He was the leader of a 4-man squad previously, in which he was given a mission to retrieve data from a Covenant outpost. The mission was simple: get in, grab the data, get out (with some impromptu explosions if desired); unfortunately, the report did not mention Brutes would be in the compound. 459 was forced to square off against 5 Brutes alone while the rest of his team dragged an injured soldier back to their escape vehicle. In a bold and dangerous maneuver he went hand to hand with a Brute Chieftain, in which his right arm was broken and almost unusable, the spar ended with him taking a plasma grenade and thrusting it into the Chieftain's mouth with his right hand but he could not pull away in time. He hastily placed a Drop Shield that protected all of his body but the arm from the shoulder down, the explosion was massively enhanced by flammable chemicals that had 'accidentally' leaked out during the spar; a last ditch effort to guarantee his teams' safe return. When the smoke cleared the entire compound was on fire, all of the brutes were dead and 459 lay unconscious with his right shoulder bleeding out; his arm gone. His team hurried to bring him back to a medical station where 459 was fitted with a prosthetic, which he augmented with 2 tiny cannons that could fire a round similar to a Magnum. After he had healed he was reassigned, but word had gotten around of how he had laid such a deadly trap and survived, thus giving him the name Trapper.

Name: Bevon (Bev-on) 246
Nick Name: Stat
Specialties: Logistics and Long-distance Firearms
Nick Name Story: 246's story is mostly uninteresting, he was like any other Spartan for a considerable amount of time. Strong, agile, intelligent and cunning, all characteristics of a perfect Spartan. There was one odd development when his brain was augmented however, he gained an amazing insight into using numbers to decide every action he made. Statistics for how long it would take for him to link up with his team before a mission, time charts of his past mission success to determine further success. It was this nervous habit that gained him the nick name Stat, short for Statistics.
Not long after he was given the title, 246 quickly became the primary consultant of his squad leader on every matter to do with mission success. Unfortunately he was captured by a squad of Elites, they attempted to pry information from him through means of torture. During his interrogation, 246 offered only small bits of information, none of which involved the UNCS operations or the Spartan project, all he gave were randomized lists of numbers and statistics, most of which crashed computer terminals when entered in to locate certain areas of space. With all of their servers down the Elites were forced to retreat, leaving behind a Spartan babbling on about leaf to bark ratios of trees.
Certainly an interesting case in which a Spartan was taken hostage by the Covenant.

So yeah, the Machinima will also include a type of story arch as well as little snippets of random junk. I am hoping I can get some help from you guys :D

An FYI about the numbers in the Spartans names, for those who aren't familiar, Spartans were mostly abducted children who lived out the lives to become perfect soldiers (all the while clones were left in their place to die). Each Spartan was designated under their original first name and a number corresponding with their recruitment. IDK if the Wiki will say that :P.

thats the point of this, if you want a character im givin the choice :D

also I need some insight on what the name of this mysterious squad should be, since there is going to be a story arc it is important that the squad be called something likeable

Oh, sorry for bringing up this again. But this is important: anybody wanting to participate must be comfortable with certain subject matter, such as mild cussing and other things. So basically, think Red vs. Blue, if you are not comfortable with that then you probably shouldn't participate.

Alright people, it has been decided. The group of Spartans Bevon and the others are a part of is called Misfit 6. The Misfit 6 has 6 members in total, 3 of them haven't been released yet as they are still in development.
The title of the Machinima is also going to be The Misfit Files, I hope this goes as well as it sounds. Me and my friends over on this side of the net are helping with body acting and some voice work.

Bait is going to be played by Necros, Trapper is played by AJ and Stat is going to be played by my friend Nikki {sorry, she called dibs >.>}. 2 of the other 3 characters will be played by myself and my sister so there is still another character who needs a voice, I will be releasing his info soon

Alright guys, after a little bit of time the main cast of the Machinima has been assembled and created.

Name: Aaron (Air-un) 336
Nick Name: Buster
Specialties: Melee Weaponry
Nick Name Story: 336 was a non-typical example of a good Spartan, unlike most of the others he had a certain ‘affinity’ for melee styled combat. During most of his training sessions he refused to fight without a melee weapon, this proved as a problem for his handlers as melee weapons can provide a bit more force in the hands of a Spartan. In fact, 336 once embedded a trainer into a wall; thankfully, the poor man was wearing his high force resistant armor at the time and survived the impact. 336 was later sent on a mission in which he, for lack of a better word, wrestled a Brute Chieftain for his Gravity Hammer. Using said hammer he proceeded to decimate the remaining enemy forces, gaining him his nickname, ‘Buster’. He was later transferred out for ‘endangering his fellow squad-mates because he simply had a weapon preference that he felt needed to be fulfilled.’

Name: James 132/Samuel
Nick Name: Alter
Specialties: Vehicle and Computer Maintenance/Stealth and assassination
Nick Name Story: Due to an unfortunate side effect to the Spartan augmentation, 132 developed DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), in which he has two different personalities; James himself and his alter ego, Samuel. Samuel first made himself known when James was on a mission to recover a shot down Saber fighter to avoid information falling into enemy hands. He ended up being ambushed, in response Samuel took over and destroyed the hostiles. James regained control afterward, having no memory of the incident. In a later mission, he was helping his squad with Warthog maintenance; Samuel took over. The resulting incident involved a vehicle hijack and some large fires that needed putting out, the only good thing that came of it was an Elite spy was found and neutralized. That same squad gave him the nickname Alter, short for Alter Ego.
After a definite diagnosis of his condition, 135 was transferred out to be a part of another specialized group.

Name: Karen (Care-en) 437
Nick Name: Spaz
Specialties: Hand to Hand Combat
Nick Name Story: Due to another unfortunate result from the Spartan augmentation, 437 suffers from a condition deemed Magpie Syndrome; a disorder in which the sufferer feels a strong desire to obtain a shiny object for their own possession. Due to her unfortunate affliction, 437 has gone through many instances where she outright threw herself into battle in order to obtain an object that sparkled in the sun too much. One incident in particular involved her spotting an Elite holding an Energy Sword, she proceeded to run up to the enemy and punch him to death. After claiming the Sword, she was disappointed when the blade deactivated and lost its’ luster. She then went on a rampage, beating to a pulp every enemy nearby in hopes of finding an object to make up for it, she found 30 Plasma Grenades, 12 Plasma Repeaters, 7 Fuel Rod Launchers and 2 Elite Spec. Ops Helmets. After this incident, she was given the nickname Spaz by her team and transferred for fear she would endanger her teammates further with her compulsive actions.

Out of these 3 characters only Aaron was up for grabs, our old friend Tidus has claimed dibs on him so he is taken, sorry :P

Now, the cast list is as follows:

Aaron 336 - Tidus
Aiton 390 - Necros
Bevon 246 - Nikki (IRL Friend)
James 132 - Matthew (Me)
Karen 437 - Kathleen (Sister [questionable atm])

Ok guys, at this point all I can really do is record the parts that don't involve extensive voice acting. I will update cast members on when recordings need to be turned in, that wont come until I have a solid script.

Speaking of scripts, I am almost finished with the first ep., I will send a copy to each of you when it is done. If you see a prob or you feel uncomfortable about something in the script [or if you have a better idea in general :P], be sure to voice it D:
