Guess What I Made : )

For a few weeks I have been playing an Irish Penny Whistle (key of D). Its been really easy, and inexpensive ($14). Very "pipe" like sound, very Irish.
So, I bought another one (key of C) different brand... and wow such a different sound... very flute like.
Then I started thinking I really want to try a Low D Whistle... a big 2 foot long one that plays 2 octaves lower. Looked on the net... they cost easily $80 to $300...
So I found out how to make one. : P
Copper pipe, coupling for the mouth piece, wooden plug, glossy black paint - built for the key of D. So...

Really awesome : )
It plays two full octaves. Mine is not as flute like as the Key of C I bought, but still its good. I've built 2 more since out of plastic cpvc and have done even better makingthem. I plan on making more.
Just thought I'd share. : )
