i think you should use a different brush from that one, there is one called sponge if i recall correctly. if you use that one as a hard edged brush it may give a better result

Its not about "improving my photoshopping" - i did that in under 30 seconds.
Its about "Yes to beard" or "No to beard" lol.

ditch the handles on the sides of your face and i think you'll be ok

Depends on what your striving for. The beard makes you look older. Maybe a goatee?

then maybe you should have titled this topic more appropriately, 'Random: Photoshop question' told me that you were asking for input on the job you did to the picture, i ignored the beard or no beard because i figured it was more of your randomness :\

Definitely not. But my input is not good since I just don't like beards. But 8/10 women do not like them.

is basically a beard but extremely short, like.... just let your beard grow for like a week and leave it, but trim it down if it gets too long

I have a serious suggestion here which you might dislike but worth mentioning.

I think maybe you should consider changing your hair style a bit? Either keep it at the same length and gel it up a bit or cut it shorter and leave it flat.. it doesnt seem to be one or the other at the minute.

The shorter haircut you could get away with the stubble a bit more.. maybe gel it up but I think the shape of your face id stay clean shaven.

Well I know you never asked for any advice on that or girls..

and since your about to get your online final fantasy etc which you'll play for months, I don't think the right advice is to try and get a girl..

So in that case,... you might aswell grow a beard.
